I don't understand your argument or the point of this article. You're arguing that games that are early access are just as buggy as retail copies so it shouldn't matter if they release DLC. But it does matter. I don't care there's a seperate team finishing the main game, it's not a finished product. You can't have DLC for a unfinished product. Your witcher 3 and No Mans Sky arguments are ridiculous. Even if you never updated Witcher 3 you can still play it beginnin...
When was it ever 50% extra power? At the most it's more like 25% with the Xbox one having the edge in CPU. The reason why the Xbox One lost sales was because of it's price and form factor. Now the slim version is selling better because its at a better price point.
I think it's one of the biggest missteps on the console. There's a lot they got right but it is a huge ommision. You can argue that it won't affect most gamers but that's not the point. It's still an ommision.
Yep. I kind of expected this on seeing the first trailer. Also there's big difference between bloodborne and Recore. Recore isn't an open world with seamless loading, you're loading in one area to the next. I'd be interested in seeing how it performs on PC but since it's first gameplay reveal it's really become massively disappointing for me. Don't think this one will turn out well.
This is a ridiculous article. First off it's easy to say that a console will be more powerful when it's released a full year after this one. We don't know the specs or if the increased specs will make a real world difference. Secondly, we don't know the price of the Scorpio. Think of it this way, if the Scorpio releases with a $500 price tag and the pro has a 50-100 dollar price drop around it's release which do you think people will go for. Both do 4K gaming, both are pre...
Pretty impressive.
When you take into account that 4K games at 60fps on PC just became possible with the Titanx. Also that 4K pc gaming isn't on the highest settings in some games, then the PS4 Pro becomes an impressive feat. Even if it's not native 4K, it'll look good enough at an affordable price point to get this generation into 4K gaming. The Xbox 360 and PS3 were mostly stuck at 720p but they were good enough to get people invested in 1080p. In a few years when the next iteration is released, t...
I was being nice. Also he did get paid, he got licensing royalties for the game. It's just that he's bitter because the licensing fees were miniscule since the series wasn't well known at the time.
Not the worst thing. If they're going with the cartridge format read access speeds should be as high as flash storage so the need for internal storage is negligible unless someone wants to buy all their games online, in that case they can probably just buy a usb and expand it that way.
The games did more to make his book series popular than he ever could have. He should be thankful. I can understand if he's frustrated that people think the books came after the game but that's not the fault of the developer, it's the fault of the publisher and easily rectified.
What corner? Even if the Neo is underpowered, you know what'll sell the console? The games. PSVR is the real question, whether or not it'll sell in large enough quantities and which console will sell more the NEO or the SLIM. It's ridiculous to say they're in a corner when the console has been selling extemely well, even with the release of the Xbox One Slim. You know who is in a corner? Microsoft. If you own a PC there's no reason to buy an Xbox One. If you own a PS4 and ...
stop complaining. it looks fine.
No it doesn't make it complicated. You can get those peripheral second hand at a fraction of the cost and you can get the camera in a bundle as well a little after launch. You don't need the move controllers the ds4 works just fine with the light bar.
I think it's more impressive that sony managed to get the ps4 that small two years ago and the fact that it still outputs better visuals than the xbox one. Also any news on whether the hard drive is removable or not?
What does this have to do with console tiers????
I don't know what I was expecting but somehow I still came away so disappointed. I mean it's Trump so it makes sense but still...
It's gonna be at the $400 mark because guess what, it has to be. If they haven't learned their lesson from the last time they did this, well, goodbye xbox.
This isn't cell shaded. It's an article with water paintings of various scenes. They're not ingame screenshots.
They're not wrong. It was a shit trailer. They should know how to market their own game. It's not like it's the first time they're doing it.
It's not about bringing the game down. Its calling out a systemic problem in the industry of charging too much for too little content as well as cutting up base content to set aside as DLC. There's an argument to be made that a full price $60 should never contain micro transactions. That plus the insistence of dividing content and selling it as DLC, Pre order bonuses, Gamestop Exclusives, Online skins, Season Passes and you're left with a bill that's double the cost of what yo...
