I got this a few days ago from Amazon. It's well worth it if you want to know how the team developed each level, enemy, characters and how it relates to shadow of the colossus and Ico. There's a lot of detail within the book. The only drawback is that it's much wider than it is taller. Similar to the mad max art book.
Unless I'm wrong I'm pretty sure there was a 2018 release window.
It'll be interesting to see the comparisons once Gran Turismo comes out since both are at 4k 60fps.
If I see Gears of War running at 60 fps with 4K on your console. Then I'll believe you. Till then F off.
Oh my god the bullshit. You held Tomb Raider for an entire year. Also remember when Call of Duty had exclusive map packs on 360.
They said 1.5 percent of the total time played by active users was spent on backwards compatibility. 50% of users may have tried it but it doesn't mean anything if they're not actively playing. Sony isn't speaking out against it. They're just saying it's not their focus. Fair enough.
It's meant to be a showcase of their upcoming library, that's always been the point of E3. Also, I prefer knowing that my console is worth the investment years down the line.
Call of Duty and Xbox, hypocrite I name the.
So they found a niche in the market, created a product around it and you're saying they're evil because of their monopoly and Origin isn't evil because it's the same, except it isn't since EA routinely charges the same price as their games or more for DLC, imposes mandates on successful studios they purchase leading them to shut down, refuses to market a game like Titanfall 2 because it doesn't have DLC they can sell, refuses to release games on a platform like the Wii...
It's showing gains in the beginning of the video and loses at the end. Also at the beginning DX11 is using 55% of the GPU while DX12 is using 95% of the GPU. At the end, they're both using 95% and DX11 has gains of 40 fps or more. The performance is identical on both.
How? Just how?
Proof that when you care about story and make a good single player experience without shoehorning multiplayer or microtransactions, games sell.
No It's one game. Dragon Quest Heroes is going to require 32GB of space.
Just really....
Well they've said it may not even release on this generation of consoles so at the moment who really cares?
It's discontinuing those devices to ensure parity among the more powerful platforms it's serving. Also it's preparation for the future when physical media will be phased out and digital media will be pushed to the forefront. At that point a monthly option for playing these older games anywhere with any modern device with a good internet connection (which in five years should be way more common) will be quite appealing. It's called an investment in the future.
Didn't you hear? We're getting Zombies.
I'd agree with 8 out of 10 of these. Six axis wasn't that bad beyond launch titles and there were a few exclusives that missed the ps3 but it still had loads more to keep you busy.
Apparently it wasn't important enough to wait for Pascal architecture which would have put it at the same level as a PS4/X1.
The AMD freesync argument is ridiculous since both consoles have GPUs made by AMD and you can't take advantage of it without a compatible monitor. Also the Ultra Blu Ray drive isn't that useful given that 4K is more digital media based rather than physical. Yes, it is more powerful but requiring parity with the One S will always hold it back, meaning you can't have destiny 2 in 60fps on the one X if it's at 30 fps on the One s, not going to happen. You're forgetting the mo...
