Ok, I really feel like saying FU because if the demo is ready, it should be in the hands of players and not just game journalists. It's unfair to first delay the game by two months and then delay the demo especially when people aren't getting it for free.
Way too harsh a review, the game may not be a masterpiece but it a good experience despite its short play time. I'd give it an extra point.
There's actually four choices in the extended one.
You can go left, right or centre but your galactic readiness needs to be at a certain percentage to unlock that ending. I think its around 70-80%.
The fourth ending is unlocked when you refuse to make any choice at all.
Because then you'd have to go through the trouble of actually playing through the ending levels three times to see each ending and it's just not worth it.
I didn't get it either but once I read the name again the video clicked for me. Definitely interesting and looks gorgeous but the world feels empty. I get why they're saying its like Portal but the statement is a bit of a stretch.
I'll tell you what I'll pit my gamertag against yours lets see who's the man here, mines "mahmoods27."
7.5 is the score reflective of the games overall quality. With 7 denoting a average game with good qualities and 8 denoting a good game with a few flaws holding it back. This game is somewhere in between since the flaws won't be overlooked by everyone.
9 is a score for Spider-man fans who are willing to overlook these flaws as long as they have a chance to play a good Spider-man game. Believe me if you're like me and you've been waiting for a good Spider-man gam...
You're hating on the game too much, the mechanics are a little more floaty but it makes it closer to Virtua Fighter 2 rather than 5 which isn't a bad thing since that was in my opinion the best in the series gameplaywise. The real problem is with the online. I have not had a single smooth match since it released, there's so much lag in this game you could stop a truck with it.
So what? You can get a 500 Gig external hard drive from western digital for £40 these days. I'm ok with that compared to the £80 you have to pay for 250 gig for the xbox 360. 8 gig is more than enough to pay wiiware games in my opinion.
In a way that's sort of worse. If a game like this has a 50 hour playtime the brunt of the games quality will come down to the story and I'm just not sure how good the story will be. Still the voice acting in the demo was excellent and it looks good graphically so it could work out. But I'm still not sold on it.
I really liked the demo for the game, I just don't know how much content it will have. I feel like this could be a 5-8 hour game based on how quick the demo went but I could be wrong.
Don't see the point of this, you don't need to install the game to play it, its just an optional install. The game comes on two discs so you can install two discs if you want. No big deal really.
I don't agree with certain points in this review. Firstly the characters look flat and squared because this is a port of the original not a remake. Secondly, the longevity of the title is hardly in question as there are other titles with about an hour or playtime on the app store which are still considered AAA titles. You can't judge it as a console remake, you have to judge it against the app store. Keeping that in mind I still agree with the final score.
I'm sorry but you can't leave out Shining Force 3 and Sega Rally. Clockwork Knight 2 was subpar and Sonic Jam was just a compilation. There were loads of games much better than those on the Saturn.
Ummm, how exactly is Microsoft responsible for this travesty??? I mean shouldn't the blame go to the people who made it.. i.e, Lucasarts?
I don't get your point, if you're saying that Nintendo needs next gen graphics to keep up then they've already lost. They've demonstrated their hardware is about as powerful as the 360/PS3 according to their tech demos, so they have two years to show of the benefits of their system at the most.
I don't think just hardware can win this race anymore. If it did Sony would have swept this hardware generation. So yeah you're right Nintendo is banking on ga...
I don't see what the problem is about the console being underpowered or overpowered in comparison to its current generation competitors. Everyone knows that Microsoft and Sony are bringing out their own next gen offerings next year so why do graphics matter at this point anyway. The question is can Nintendo sell the Wii U as a gaming system and still keep up third party support for the next 5 years. Its a big question that no one seems to be able to answer.
You do know your profile can be updated and your original pictures on your previous posts do change if your profile changes.
Well if you look at the document containing their plans for the ending in the final hours of Mass Effect 3 app you can see that they intended it to cause discussion among players and that it was intentionally vague.
Still not really an interesting find, more disappointing for me.
The demo doesn't come with GOW:A. It links you to a download which currently has a timer which will end on May 31st. Meaning you'll have to wait two months to get the demo which is essentially ready.
