Not remotely the same. You could only grapple to specific points and glide downwards.

Is that Canadian? My prices are correct for the US.
They aren't paying for it. Microsoft is not only subsidizing hardware they are now subsidizing software with $1 gamepass subs. They say it's sustainable but with their windows and office monopoly they would be singing a different tune.
Just typical Japanese politeness and self depreciation. If Microsoft had been patient with the development process they could have had a surefire hit in their hands. A shame they pulled the plug on this ambitious project.
They were 100% ready to make this game a launch title and a year later they are splitting the launch over three releases and that is before the inevitable GaaS expansions. If they weren't giving it away free with game pass I think there would be a lot more complaints.
There is a very specific look to most unreal games which makes games not using it really stand out especially when the tech is impressive like this or Decima.
Just Cause allowed you to use it literally anywhere in combination with the hang glider. That was the revolutionary bit. It wasn't limited to certain areas or surfaces and gave you a speed boost that she used with the hang glider made for quick and fun traversal unlike anything before it. It also let you link all sorts of thinks together which made for great physics based emergent gameplay.
Probably because it's easier and more "meaningful" to give a boxed game as a gift.
Never seen Rift Apart that cheap physical. Where did you buy it? Off the back of a truck?
RE Village is $29.99. Demon's Souls is $39.89. Rift Apart is $49.69. Miles Morales is $29.99. All crazy deals!
Unreal is a great engine but it's boring if everyone uses it. From the trailer this engine brings a huge amount of capability. I think Dokev will be a huge hit. Looks like there is an amazing variety to the gameplay mechanics which is exactly what is needed in any big open world game to keep it fresh and interesting for the duration of a long game.
The character looks like that weird kid from the He-Man cartoon that spoke with a creepy voice.
Combined sales? Lol. We all know who is doing the heavy lifting in that duo.
It's not a full game so it shouldn't be listed as one. Just make this garbage free to everyone and hope people like the game enough to buy the full version.
