So not a game but an "app" like Abandoned? Hmm....
That's the dumbest thing I've ever read. Former GOTY contenders like Hades and The Witcher 3 ran on Switch which is about the same power as a PS3. PC games scale from a 3080 to a 780 with no problems. The only compromises made are to resolution and detail.
The art direction in this game is such a huge turnoff. It's like Judge Dredd meets Conan the Barbarian.
Given the name how long do you think they will support the game with DLC? I'm thinking this may be the only Halo this gen with several large expansions.
No one knows how to overhype an event like Geoffrey the Giraffe.
I agree with both of your points. I think exclusives serve a purpose. They set the bar and are usually well funded and polished. But you can't say you want more people to play games and then sell those games on fewer platforms. It's inconsistent to say the least.
Crazy all of the people trying to give this guy a hard time when he's justifiably calling out hypocrisy. You can't say you want to expand gaming while restricting where people can play their games. Sony doesn't hide the fact that they want to expand their business and Nintendo thinks that games should be made to serve their hardware not the other way around. Phil had a lot to say before the Bethesda buyout about removing barriers to play but when a business opportunity arose he to...
Yes it is. It will be fully optimized for both ps4 and PS5's capabilities.
Calling it now. This is going to be the game of the generation.
I remember reading the previews for this game and being excited and then it came out. Oof. No wonder Quantic Dream gave up on gameplay and made interactive movies instead.
True. It's the only driving game that holds my attention and makes me want to perfect every corner. The attention to detail is insane
All too common with patches. They rush out a fix and that fix breaks other things. Best to take your time and get it right.
Yeah those are great examples of creating classic games for the modern age. The freshest gameplay is always from new IPs though.
Looks great. If it was shown as a 3rd person replay camera people would be drooling even more.
Sad but true. High detail assets are much harder and more expensive to make than ancient ones.
I prefer new IPs to sequels or remakes.
It will. Sony made it easy and free to make use of their dedicated hardware and software solution. That's why you see such massive differences in install sizes.
Maybe I'll pick it up on sale.
If neither Judgement nor Mortal Shell are the PS5 versions thats lame.
His Summer Games showcase was a huge bust for the most part. 99% filler.
