PSVR2 already has such an amazing catalog and it just came out.

Good. The twin snakes rerecorded all the dialog and the actors sounded bored as hell.
People complain but CoD, Fifa, Fortnite, etc is all casuals play. Then there is the hardcore crowd playing Destiny, Ovewatch, Dota etc. 90% of people's game time is on these "second job" games so Sony would be crazy to not try their hand at it. They are still pumping out the best single player and VR games in the business so there is something for everyone.
Redfall should have just been Dishonored but with a vampire twist but they went chasing the "engagement" rather than sales angle.
It won't compete graphically and it won't have Horizon or GT7...

Will the games look anything like the CG trailers? Hard to say but Redfall sure didn't....
What really doesn't make sense is comparing a value priced handheld to a fully functional console but people do it anyway.

The point is to sell an accessory to those who want the best possible streaming experience. Dedicated hardware and a clean interface. With wifi and cell phone hotspots this could be used anywhere.
No because the Pro split the difference. No games are going to look like a generational leap over the Pro if you want to be pedantic about it.

Exactly my point. Starfield is a shooter with a few RPG elements. It's not a real RPG by any standards.
RPG is used so loosely these days. What makes Starfield an RPG? God of War has stats and builds and hitpoints and various magic abilities. Is that an RPG too? Not to mention that almost every Japanese RPG comes to Playstation but rarely Xbox.
