All the different scenes being shown and how tight and varied the combat looks says to me it's close to finished. There were a whole lotta assets on display.
They did the math and they lose more by having to cut in retailers and in lost sales to the used market. Games don't get sequels, developers don't stay in business unless they make money. As a consumer if you want high quality content you should understand the realities of the marketplace. If you want single player big budget games to exist then support them otherwise get used to playing 100 different versions of Fortnite and Genshin Impact.
You own the game just as much digitally as physically. Even more so in that it can't be stolen, lost, broken, scratched or otherwise destroyed. It's also dumb to call out this one game when there are thousands already only available digitally.
Sounds like the perfect length. Games these days have too much filler. Give me a nice tight experience any day.
Phantom Blade Zero and Spiderman 2 will look better and BE better than anything Microsoft shows off this summer. I guarantee you.
They managed to make Jodie Comer look old and ugly. Wtf. She's gorgeous.
PC is the biggest platform there is and it is essentially digital only. People who buy and then resell games are the ones who are upset. For those of us who don't we are essentially subsidizing their gaming habits. I am not against being able to resell games but ESPECIALLY single player one and done games lose a lot of revenue to resellers so I can see why they made the decision they did.
"outrage" lol. Most games are only available digitally. PSN is full of digital only games. There's no sense in fighting the future.
The only one we really need is MGS4 and yet they pretend it doesn't exist.
The boss fights and the entire game were brilliant. I don't get the hate this game got. It was a terrific experience from top to bottom.
Have yet to pay $70 for a game. Probably never will.
It will get high scores based on it's pedigree like Zelda but it's just going to be Fallout in space.
They were better off not saying anything about it at all then. Wow.
You're right but the game has taken forever and the delay is by no means a guarantee that it still won't release with bugs given Bethesda's previous track record.
It's the same company. Bethesda is a wholly-owned subsidiary. There is no distinction.
Uh, if the makers of the game aren't at fault who is? This propaganda has gone too far. Put down the kool-aid already.
They couid release a golden toilet for your space ships and it would bring in another 5 million. The fan base for this game all need a psych evaluation.
I would rather have a Cyberpunk sequel. I've played it 4 times now because I love it so much.
I actually like the idea. I'd rather be stealing from Billionaires than murdering Arabs like most games.
