I don't think it does happen on consoles after a while. This Gen developers have the hardware (cpu upgrade especially) and have gotten the message from gamers that higher frame rates are wanted.

So basically unplayable except on PC. That's unfortunate. I've gotten too used to 60fps to ever go back. Even 60 feels sorta slow after playing GT7 at 120fps.

Fable looked nothing like an actual game. That's not what it will look like when it's being played unless the entire game is QTEs.
