As for the Vita and HDMI out, all the demo models as well as every one sent to developers have hdmi out. I just get the feeling that it wouldn't have been all that darn hard for Sony to include it. It would have even been worth it costing more in my eyes.

I frankly LIKE single player in my FPS games. If they go all multiplayer that is the day I stop buying them. To me multi-player gets tedious after a while and as far as I'm concerned is a value add to a "real" game with a story.
Also, I already miss the boys from bad company, I sure hope they bring them back for another story, with more of the comedy from the first one and polish from the second.

The Devs of the COD franchise don't really have to do anything but the minimum, if people keep swallowing the same game, over and over again with different maps and a different scripted campaign in single player why spend the extra money on better graphics or use a newer engine. You really cannot even blame the creators or the publisher. why sink money into it when you know that you will make the same profit?
Hey, man a perfect example was Resistance 2, they went 2 weapon and it actually ruined the tenor of the game for me, you always knew you were going to fight a boss because the level would have to conveniently have a particular weapon laying around that was the only weapon to kill the boss.
the cry for the weapons wheel was so loud that insomniac had to bring it back for the third installment.
so, their is hope to bring that particular fun back into FPS games...
