I would have no problem at all getting a steambox as long as there will be the same kind of discounts you get from steam now, I definatly will not be buying old games for 35-60 dollars when they are 5.00 to 15.00 of steam for the pc.

I think that people are forgetting that The PS3 had another purpose when it came out, it was the sledge hammer that killed HD-DVD and set in stone Blu-ray as the defacto standard for commercial physical HD media.
and that made Sony Billions in sales of Players and licences as well as ancillary sales of HD Tv's.
MDK was great, I would love to see a new one of those. the suit was the most unique thing I have ever seen in gaming.
I would also love to see a remake of Shadow Warrior, the humour in that FPS was great.
also, a nice star wars FPS like dark forces 1 and 2.
I loved the campaign in BC1, Dice made the mistake of listening to reviewers and making the characters more serious, Haggard was GREAT in BC1 and he turned into a bitter, angry A-hole in BC2. I would love a BC3 with more of the great stuff from BC1 and the latest Frostbite engine. Plus, I want Haggard to screw with Sweetwater and hear about how truckasaurus rex might be able to go up against a Russian tank! or Haggard dating his cousin.

If MS bought Activision, they would do what they historically do to most developer/distributors after a year or so, shutter them. MS, if you can't make great games buy and close down everyone that can. then you won't look so mediocre....

That may be the case but, why has windows blue screened on MS presentations so many times. even a recent presentation of the surface tablet failed on stage during an MS presentation.
But, you have to admit, The Windows OS just doesn't happen to be very robust. unless everything is perfect, from drivers all the way down to a simple app just about anything can take it down. granted, it has gotten better but, Windows still can make a fool out of CEO's from Bill G. to Kaz...
