warframe is a free to play game and you can play it now on the PC if you want. It is the spiritual successor to Dark Sector or to be honest the first dark sector concept video.
The problem is when you don't explain something that drastically changes how things have always been and just say how it will be better and that's it the consumer perceives that you are hiding something from them that is not in their benefit. and that instinct is almost right every time.

if you really look at them the PS4 has less height, but, it is narrower and longer, dimensionaly it is probably close to the same size.
As for the comparison to a PC, everything in the PS4 is engineered to be low power with less heat, the ram as well as the jaguar 8 core processor. so I think the heat footprint would be considerably less than a standard PC.
It's all in how it was engineered.
This reminds me of when I used to work on computers and I would ask the customer what the specs were for their system and they were under the impression that the size of the case was a direct indicator of the power of the system and the amount of hard drive space it had.
there is no telling what conclusion an ignorant person will come to concerning tech, they seem to always fall back on a larger size having some profound effect on performance.

I think a lot of people moved to the PS3 because they were tired of sending the 360 on a vacation to Texas so MS could jury rig it back to working state over and over again.
The fifth time I got my 360 back from Texas I didn't even take it out of the box, I just gathered everything up gamepads and games and traded it in towards a PS3.
MS has always been an evil empire, corporations might be considered demons but MS is the devil himself. :)
you forgot ALL Sony first party games will be DRM free.
herp derp, All first party studios will be DRM free, if EA wants to enforce DRM with their games that is their right. but, as for Sony, everything under Sony ownership will be DRM free.
So, if there is a blocked game on a Sony Console, get pissed at the 3rd party publisher. Personally, that just means that I will be Getting a PS4 for all the great First party games that are DRM free and will not consider a Third party game with DRM till it has dropped in price to around 15.0...
