Of course it's not enough. People tend to be blinded by graphics when it's all the elements within a game that makes it a worthwhile exercise altogether.
An example of not seeing the forest because of the trees.
Just to add: Quidditch World Cup got made into a game in 07 by EA.
If the demand is there, people will buy it.
About 15-20 minutes, but it felt like an hour.
Compared to the Wii's success? Yeah it is. Even their gimmicky as hell Wii Balance Board has sold over 42 million worldwide.
Really?
I wonder if there is a lack of tension in the new release? If there is none, does it count as survival horror?
Would you buy one when it releases?
Sony should've really pushed Vita a lot more in their conference, maybe even cut the Wonderbook presentation by 10 minutes and showcase some upcoming titles for the Vita. Nintendo even had an hour conference just for their handheld and it looked like Sony were ignoring the Vita, bar the announcement for a new hardware bundle with the Assassin's Creed Vita game.
What? You gamers think that you deserve to have a decent conference, brimming with games and not gimmicks?
Y'all have entitlement issues. j/k
I want a proper Starfox game that harkens back to the days of the Snes and the N64. Probably won't get it though, but it would be a system seller.
Tech alone is not what makes a console attractive; it's whether it's "fun" and has games. Graphics and tech aren't the be all and end all in a console's appeal.
Game are a terrible company. They won't be missed.
Having played them since they dropped for the PS2; I hope to get it when it comes out.
Christ, he's been talking a lot of jibber jabber these days hasn't he?
I fear that he can't leave it because the company (Konami) and the fans of MGS won't let him. He's suffering the same fate that happened to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle when he created Sherlock Holmes. Due to public outcry; Doyle couldn't kill off his creation because of how loved his short stories were and I fear it's become a millstone around Kojima's neck which is inhibiting his ability to branch out and form new IPs and/or finish ZOE 3. It's a big shame.
E3 has ceased being relevant for a long time now and it's a shame. Everything has become too similar with each company copying each other with a glut of multi-platform games to support each system. Kinect/Move copying the Wii to get a share of that casual gamer market when the funds to develop said devices could've been utilized more effectively for first party games for instance. No surprise announcements or shocks or anything of the sort on this E3 (like I thought as much in the blo...
If your fans aren't supporting it; is it a good idea to back a dead horse?
Wouldn't it also depend on what the DLC was exactly? Say that the DLC in question had every game of every system that's ever been, including all releases for the next two generations of consoles over a 10-20 year period; would people be interested in buying it?
Probably not, but it's nice to think about.
¬_¬ Game/Gamestation is a failing business. I wouldn't put much faith in whatever they say.
Full voice-acting, emoting, time travel?
Maybe I'll think twice and actually invest in a handheld once more information comes out because this might be my jam.
