I really didn't care for this article much but what got me a little perturbed was the statement about Dom from GOW3 "taking the easy way out." In terms of narrative, it was clear that he sacrificed himself so that his team could survive. Implying what Dom did was some sort of selfish action is a highly disingenuous assertion. What is mentioned in the article are XBLA titles that have YET to be released, due to difficulties of some kind. You can't download a game if it's not been released.

@Erudito87 Due to the economy slowly collapsing in on it self, the resale value of housing, tv, surround system will depreciate in value. Gaming collectibles will only rise in value.
Because gaming has become collectible. This fella is selling complete sets of Nintendo games, Sega games, including rare games, as well as complete sets of PC CD Engine games. All games are boxed, and a lot of them are factory sealed. That's bloody incredible in my book and the value of games as collectibles will only rise.

I get ya but there are titles out there that are more "mature" in theme and scope. There was this one game that I played called "I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream" using SCUMMVM because it was an old-style point and click type of a game. I liked 12 as well. Do not understand why FF 12 gets so much hate while FF 10 has it's fans despite it's poor plot. It does have a good fighting system that was improved upon in their sequel believe it or not.

There were more original titles to pick from, more games that dared to be different and tried new things, and there were some GREAT plots from older games.
