Very true. I love games on the PC but I don't care about how much pretty pixels a certain game has on my screen. Just make it fun and have faith in visual artist who can turn crap into masterpieces.
Visual realism in games are like icing on the cake. If the cake taste horrible then you've wasted time and money on frosting.

Disagree all you want, you know your $6000 or whatever price you paid for your PC will never have the ability to render a game with 100% ray tracing.
The graphics argument is old, what we should be talking about is art direction which has more value in a game than pixel...
I see one major limitation of all of today's gaming graphics; not a single frame and/or video shows true Ray Tracing.
PC graphics STILL have to rely on "smoke and mirrors" which comes out looking like a grey colored and blocky environment, that happens to have sharp textures. Sorry but this Metro2033 will never look like this attached image.

The next console needs more than just advance visuals. It needs something that was not done before. This console generation introduced motion controls, blu-ray formats, bigger online communities, mobile gaming, party games, etc..

Umm...You do realize that Sony also makes phones right? And these phones are "PlayStation certified." You should look into that.
