PC and consoles are 2 separate gaming markets. I know it's hard to believe because we see a same game released on both PC and consoles.

To all of the publishers and developers out there...video games is an art form. Art should not be censored! Period!
Obviously, don't sell porn and tell people it's safe for children to play. We have a rating system for that. Just remember that Grand Theft Auto can make billions and they did not censor anything. Who cares about the sensitive people out there. Feel free to express yourself and create freely.
Obviously, we can look back on video game history. Judging by the market lifespan, it looks like Xbox and Playstation generations hit their peak around 6 years in. After that, a new generation model will begin.
This is just analyzing historical generations. I'm sure there are a lot more factors going on, but it's safe to say that the next generation will be in year 2018 or 2019.

It's pretty obvious that console software sales will slow down. Have anyone heard of this term "Next Gen." It describes the transition from older consoles to the beginning of new ones.
The start of the new consoles generation was in late 2013. Comparing that to a platform that has been around for decades, sounds like a stretch.
Technically, PC has way more advantages than consoles but the one big thing that consoles have over PC comes down to one word:
BRANDING
Not saying it's a great thing, but it has power (just look at Nike or Apple). The quality/experience will always be debatable, but in the end, the brand is what makes it sell.

The original was the most expensive video game of its time. Even the movie Advent Children's budget was like $100 Million, and took 3 years to make that. I can't even imagine how expensive this remake will be. Would not be surprised if it's around $300 million. Hopefully, this remake won't be a long wait.

Back in the early 80's, Arcade games were my first. Although, I played very little. It was just to hang out with friends at the mall. Then my father got the Commodore 64 some time later and I officially became a gamer.

Not crazy. RDR is an amazing game with fantastic art direction.
Keep in mind that the western environment in RDR is not as detailed as the fantasy setting in Witcher 3. Witcher 3 has a lot more stuff to render on screen compared to RDR.
Screenshots makes it hard to see how detailed the graphics are. Even videos on youtube can't show every detail of video game graphics.
PC gamer: "hey, my PC setup can do 4k, 60fps, no loading...."
Console gamer: "yeah, but can it play (insert any exclusive console game here)?"
PC gamer: "...shut up about your exclusives! At least I have backwards compatibility!!!"
Wealthy gamer: "I have both so I'm a better gamer than both of you. blah blah blah...."

Games are funny like that. I bought GTA 5 on day 1 but I didn't really enjoy it the first time. I was hyped about it but when I got it, I felt a sense of dissatisfaction. This may have been what was going on with my life at the time. It wasn't until later on when it got re-released on the PS4 when I suddenly started to enjoy it. This had nothing to do with the graphic upgrades, it may have a lot to do with my state of mind at the time.
