If that really helps you: it was a Eric Clapton Live DVD together with a handful of others. But as you could read in the article it is not a DVD issue per se but rather a software problem in combination with the used TV. And no, I don't have these issues with my setup

Smells like a TV set specific issue, like if the TV is unable to make the rez switch when the PS3 cha...
Unlikely, content update is Thursdays for US store and Fridays for EU stores. Seems like a perfectly normal mainentance shutdown. Webserver update , database update whatever, i care not ;)
yes, it runs both ways though, the same as this little tidbit is not confirmation, it is also not "crushing", but as someone felt the need to make a topic out of the fake "confirmed" news on PSU it is only FAIR that someone counters it with equally fake "will not happen" topics.
Actually right now i am more pissed at psu.com for spinelessly changing the newspost to hide their BS than with Rowland for posting an equally misleading title for this one...
Surprise surprise
Seems psu.com likes to sneakily change newstexts to fit their wishes.

To what extent this will be included, still remains a mystery.
...
sure suxx, cause i prefer fitting titles and full channel list to gimped stuff. Its not earth shaking though.
IS it only me, or is there a difference between "Its not decided yet" to "Unreal III Not Cross Platform"
I would suggest to change the topic to "[Rumor control]UT3 cross Platform play NOT confirmed"
Also, why is PC gaming missing from the channels, its sure PC-gaming related
both *rolleyes*
Its the boring summer news drought, so every forum burp gets posted as news on the portals. What else to do lacking any real news.
THANK GOD the Leipzig show is not far away, then we will get real news again, and then the games will start releasing giving room for all the childish comparison threads.
So get ready for fall ..
Don't make me laugh, UT was always all about the mods for the game on PC. The original game went less, the mods still strife.
Check the amount of UT (UT2000) players that play the original gamemodes and the amount that, even today, play mods like TacticalOps, ChaosUT and Strikeforce. Same with UT2004, lotsa mods around that keep the game going like TO:Crossfire and RedOrchestra (went full game after it won the MSUC contest hold by Epic and Nvidea)
I wondered myself about that, until i read the gamespot newspost.
It seems gamespot combined teh E3 info that x-platform play is possible and Keyb/mouse support into
"Keyb/mouse support and crossplatform gaming confirmed"
I will stay with Marks statement that it is NOT YET decided
Mark already stated that they managed to get it fair for both controller and keyb/mouse users. This is the main reason this was allowed in the first place.
why by simply guessing out of the blue of course, thats how analysts work all the time, didn't you know ?
*lol*
hmm, taking your advise i went to VGchartz and took the weekly numbers you pointed out:
---- 1 week ago --- 2 weeks ago - 3 weeks ago
Wii: - 74,320 ----- 82,858 ------- 109,523
PS3: - 37,524 ----- 15,447 ------- 14,094
----------------------------- -----------------
difference p. week: 36,796 ----- 67,411 ------- 95,429
I don't know, but it seems to me the difference in sales numbers get LOWER, not higher. But maybe you have a different form ...
manhunt2 is neither AAA not will it be released this year, most likely not even any year considering that its banned from the Wii for being AO ;)
@Jenzo: how could you forget Singstar and Warhawk ?thats two more anticipated 1st party exclusives dated for THIS month, regardless if you like Singstar or not, its a HUGE franchise in Europe
Sales gap is not the same as total hardware gap. I thought that was obvious but seemingly it is not.
Sales gap = the difference of day to day sales between 2 products.
Wii:Ps3 was 6:1, and last week it was "only" 4:1 hence the sales gap is getting smaller.
BUT the Wii still outsells the PS3 by a huge amount, and i only think its on even footing when the gap gets lower than 3:1 cause the Wii is about 1:3 the price of the PS3.
i don't see "seems to believe to" as confirmation, but the issue would be something different anyways, cause can you believe how people would feel if they had to play from their pay2play platform on other consoles against the people from PC and PS3 that play4free ?
+ network interoperationality is not wanted from Microsoft, hence they made their own niche system for PC aka "life4windows" to strictly regulate what is coming to the life network.
don't feel so bad, i still like this flamebait stories now and then. And its a legit rumor to be posted. I will still mostly dissagree with you, just not over this topic being a legit n4g worthy rumor :)
People really should cut this temper tantrum over approving a rumor story and stop abusing the report system for crap. Good thing the admin overruled this.

To quote an earlier newspost: "a stylishly animated series that will reveal the history of the Heavenly Sword in five weekly episodes."
