This is about as 'interesting' as BluRay vs HDDVD posts. Though it has 'linux' in it somewhere, so ill give it a nerd bonus ...
Hmm, old ;)
Already seen that on n4g a month ago, minus the blabber though.

Additionally its not a PS3 based simulator, but a PC based simulator, as stated by the company that build the simulator car. The rumour of the "PS3" sim came up after one person in the vid called the whole car a "Playstation".
"come again next week to our 'news' post : 'Top 7 boys kissing boys in games'"
*rolleyes*
erm, a slideshow of the already shown screenshots ?
It's not that i am not interested in Killzone2, neither would i say i am not preordering it as soon as i can, but sometimes i feel certain "news" waste my precious time.
Manhunt is crap, and Max Payn was not made by R*, only published by them
The point aside that buying R* would be a mistake from the creative side, and a costly one, i don't think this mere rumor has any merit.
Imho R* has already gone stale with the ever and ever repeating GTA4..5..6..7..8.... Sony should concentrate on the new small creative teams like Media Molecule, LBP has shown that new fresh developers can create games that move people.
You are missing the important part, creative people HATE to be bought like cattle. If you go around and throw money around with enemy takeovers you will drive away the creative backbone of the studios you named, getting in return a hollow husk with no worth, but a name.
Enemy takeovers in the game dev world always lead to less creativity and more crap games in the past
Considering their handling of the "cross platform play confirmed" news i'll say "keep your sh*t rumours, i'll stay with real news sources.
Honestly thats peanuts, Games cost EUR 69.99 here in the old world:
69.99 Euro = 101.443 Canadian Dollar
So if you feel ripped off, imagine how we EuroPEONS feel
i wonder whats it's use, as the PS3 can be put vertical right out of the box, mine is placed that way next to my HDTV
Erm, whats so new about some random Japanese dating Sim ? Even if its mixed into some kind of RPG.
They have been around for years on the PC, and they are as boring as you think they might be. Maybe even worse. Prolly even heavily censored by mosaic patterns ;)
ERm, actually they said that the new controllers that are now in dev's hands have NO rumble, stop making stuff up please.

Hmm, cdzie1 .. where did i read that name before ...
Ah yes, in the Topic where he claimed that the PS3 does not count as BD player sold as its not a standalone player and no one uses it to watch movies. The table turned, now it has to hold up as an excuse that HD-DVD is selling low ...
Spin spin spin the wheel ... lalalaaa
Hehe, The X-Box360 is NOT made in America, its made in China ;)
hmm, i wanna see the add, damn
oops, wrong post :D
Still the vgchartz total numbers for the PS3 where less than 1% wrong as confirmed by Sony's financial reports that for the first time published shipped units and SOLD TO CUSTOMER units.
And you might rethink NPD numbers as they do not include WalMart ;) hence NPD is about as wrong, at least.
Considering that VGchartz was less than 1% off the official sold2customer numbers that Sony released with their financial report i wouldn't be so fast in throwing mud at them. Even NPD only manages a 10% accuracy as stated by NPD themself. So at least the PS3 numbers seem to be rather accurate. And if they use the same sources for all 3 consoles i fail to see why the other two should be completely off the target.
@William:

he is right you know, since the release in march the PS3 sold more than the X-Box360 in theEU every single week till today, so that other info you had seems kinda flawed.
The amount sold more was not the issue, cause clearly the much higher US X-Box360 sales more than made up for the PS3 numbers in Europe, until the PS3 managed to go ahead the X-Box360...
"needed" ? nope, but neither are component cables, the minimum needed is the ugly composite cable you get with every console...
convenient and nice to have? yes, why not go with the best signal if available
And as its a fully digital transmission system the picture quality will always be better than component cables, and even better than VGA(analog)
Its a simple matter of
source(digital) -> cable(HDMI:digital) -> screen (di...
