somehow i feel you failed to understand the issue.
You can play with up to 4 people from one system, even online against other players, no problem.
The only difference is, that the game is LIMITED to the PSN account that bought it and can only be played from that account. Additionally when you download and play it to a different PS3 you will be locked to that PS3 for 24h.
The BD version of the game does not have this limitation.

Over all i agree that it is in a way a demo for GT5, BUT the amount of stuff in GT5-P (as far as we know that stuff) is much more full-game like than e.g. the famous GT4-P version that sold for FULL PRICE.
I am not fully into the story but i think it was something like 40 cars, 10 tracks and online racing + leaderboard etc
That sounds way more like a full game than a demo. Looking at the recent demos of NGS , GRAW2 and HS it does contain WAY more than these 3 demos comb...

That is hard to answer, as we don't know any specifics regarding the GT5 Prolouge version.
I can only compare it to the GT4 Prolouge release that came before GT4.
That one was more like a teaser than a full game, featuring only few cars and 3 tracks if i remember correctly. But as GT games have a history of being delayed it was the only way to get your hands on some GT4 fodder that time, so it ended as a bestseller regardless it was a full price for a "demo...
If its the same as with GT4 Prolouge, as in full price $60 title when its more like a teaser for the real game then i will most likely abstain from buying. If its a bargain price at around $20 i will consider it, and if its free there is no second thought, ill download it ;P

There is only ONE rating system, the USK, the article mixed up some recently changed responsibilities regarding gameratings. Its more like an "angry gamer rant" than investigated newsstory.
Games are hardly ever "banned" nowadays, they simply get 18+ ratings, and thats hardly a problem, cause you can buy 18+ games in every bigger electronics store around like Mediamarkt etc ... Only you have to be 18 or older cause the games are shown in special red cases that sho...
Gears of War was never Banned in Germany, after teh USK informed MS/Epic that Gears would get a 18+ rating unless changeg MS and Epic refused to launch it in Germany.
So it is not banned, and would not have been banned, but MS does not release AO games , anywhere. Like Sony and Nintendo btw.

So it is not unlikely to make that target. Heck if they continue like now, to quote you again, "with no games", and if X-Mass would not exist they would end at roughly 3.3 at the end of March. So they would sell another 2 million, without games. Seems to me they where right when they claimed "People will buy it even without games"
Sounds at least plausible, ~ 1,3 mill in the low sales month of April-August = 7 Month to go, which include the Holiday season. So a bit more than double the current amount sounds reachable.
Its at ~ 100k per week worldwide now, so in 28 weeks thats 2.8 million without the holiday bonus. A million extra for the holiday season sounds about right imho.
Lol, anyone who saw the huge amount of "lol i get the psn version and share it with my 4 friends, its sooo cheap" posts when it was announced that Warhawk will be a PSN downloadable game could anticipate that Sony would not tolerate the implied warez aspect of the "game sharing" movement.
Actually the DRM stuff is there because of tards like that, who basically warezed out their PSN downloads to other people to cut the pay of the devs abused the 5 downloads ...
