So say we all
Besides, the term "soccer" was originated in England, where there basically is no American football. It was the most popular name of the sport for a very long time. Even to this day, the name is used not only here, but in England still, and in many parts of the world quite widely.
For you. My football involves pads and concussions. Soccer involves headers and flops. I like both sports.
Regardless, you knew exactly what I was talking about, but if you want to be a snob about what a fracking sport is called, that's your prerogative.
My plan is to spend about a grand to upgrade this PC for BF3, and then buy Uncharted 3. Then I'll be done with gaming for the year.
I know next to nothing about soccer strategy and am generally horrible at soccer games... but that looks good enough that I think I will go out and purchase it.
True, but look how much money they burned on the PS3. It was in the billions. I figure they'll go out of their way to not let that happen again.
I do recall a recent Sony article with Katou Masaru saying something about them wanting to not burn a lot of money into the next development cycle, which to me sounds like they won't be going all out on this console. Also, it sounds like most of you don't remember that IBM ended their development of the Cell architecture, so the 32 SPU variant doesn't even exist and won't. That said, I wouldn't be surprised to see a PoweXCell 8i in a PS4.

I've never really had a problem with people camping, even if it does get me a killed a few times. If I repeatedly get killed, either I need to play smarter or just plain get better, because all hiding places, no matter how good they are, can be taken. Same thing with claymores. If you repeatedly run into them, then learn to pay more attention.
I do wholeheartedly agree with killcams being a necessity, though... especially for COD. A big percentage of those maps are such a...
It wasn't an iceberg, it was a frackin polar bear. I was there with him sipping a margarita. Don't ask questions, just accept it because Kenny Powers said so.
As much as I love the originals, it seems Ubisoft totally half-assed this. The sound is atrocious. Not the score, mind you, but the sound effects. Volume is way off, pops in and out, etc.
Ubi's laziness really makes me worry about the Splinter Cell Trilogy.
Definitely, but there are some good games in there.
However, Valve still does not get a free pass from me for the constant lack of new Half-life.
Many people don't really care in the end. I personally have never gotten 1000/1000 and do not have a platinum trophy. I have a few that are very very close, but once I play through a game on its hardest difficulty, I am left with no desire to replay it, especially just to find that one secret item, or to do something silly like jump on this certain cow exactly at sunset on a Thursday.
Here's one. I am a ammo crate building beast.
Didn't say anything about it being boring.
Does it include a bong minigame?
Undoubtedly. Chief could sit there frozen for 500 years, and then have an all-new everything to deal with. Not to mention that the Flood could very easily still be around. They surely spread more than the 3 games have shown.
Regardless, Halo will be back with a new game, probably next year. Gears this year, Halo next.
I vote for a Pacquaio / Mayweather demo, as that is the only way that fight is gonna happen.
Yeah, he really didn't do that much in terms of this exploit. He had already given up trying to hack the system during the summer. But once the other guys broke through, he used their work to break in and post the keys.
Nothing but an attention whore.
No, Sony has The Show. Even though I personally prefer 2K's pitching mechanic, The Show has been an overall better game the last few years. IMO, anyway.
I'm with LastDance... at this point I want to see a remade Metal Gear 1&2. The Solid series is good enough as is.
