I'm completely the opposite. I hate auto-aim, period. Biggest gripe I have with COD is that auto-aim makes any beginner be able to pop right to you.
Hell, I even play RDR with nothing but Expert aiming.
No, that douche will probably outlive us all.
I think they also mentioned teleporting cake.
Are you sure you aren't just wanting a hunting simulator instead of this game? :)
Can't find anyone mentioning it, but many of the story links would not work (Error Page) if I wasn't logged in. Not a big deal usually, but occasionally I come here from other computers to pass time and don't want to bother logging in.
I agree with a lot of what he's saying. Take "Avatar", for instance. For every scene that looked really cool with 3D (like the one where he's awoken from cryo), there is a scene that has so much motion blur due to 3D, that it completely screws the scene. Not to mention how much darker everything was.
Honestly, I like the standard Blu-ray version of the movie more than the 3D version I saw in theaters.
I'm not at all a fan of 3D, in games or movies. Many scenes in Avatar were just a big gimmick in its use of 3D, and it's considered a good example of how to use the technology. If a premiere filmmaker screws up scenes with 3D, can you imagine the hack jobs that will be put out into the home market?
It's possible that the Wii could do it... they're around halfway there according to some sales estimates that I've seen. It's really going to depend on how Nintendo chooses to enter the next generation in a couple of years. Will they continue to produce and support the Wii, or will they dump it like they did the Gamecube? And if they make a new console, will it take all of the Wii's sales? Time will tell.
I doubt any console ever will again.
I like to live in Bizarro world, so I watch movies on my 360, and use my PS3 solely for offline FPS.
@ Soda -- communicate tactics and strategy? If calling each other f@gs is strategy, then Live is chock full of masterminds. LOL
But I prefer some parts of each controller. I like the triggers of the 360 controller better, having my finger in that indentation makes me seem in control much more. But I prefer the sticks on the DS3, mainly because of the opposite reason. I don't put the tips of my thumbs on the sticks, I use the meat of my thumbs. With the DS3, I have more surface t...
Games are getting so much more complicated. More code, more features, more terrain, more players... it's harder to account for everything without months of testing. Even betas can be deceiving because you're never really sure how many people will buy your game, and you don't get to beta every single map.
Not to mention that developers are getting put under more strain to finish games because of financial reasons. It's hard enough to make profit when you release on time, much less...
I get them a lot, too. From the looks of it, the lag is letting you both register a killshot before the other shoots, and both of you die when it catches up.
I get it a lot sniping against other snipers, but that's more understandable with the distance. It's odd, however, when you're at point blank range and it happens.
Martyrdom isn't overpowering, unless you're constantly running up to your opponents to teabag them... in which case you deserve to get blown up. lol
But really, I rarely got hit by martyrdom grenades in COD4, and with their near-removal in MW2, it's rare for me to even see it. I think the biggest reason people hated it so much is because they were always in such a hurry to run around. Now look at MW2, Martyrdom is basically gone, and people can run around the entire match with Li...
Except understand the concept of episodic games. *looking at episode 3*
I love to hide in the bushes, and then throw out C4 when the tanks go by. Great fun.
At 1.8:
Then Apple needs to shut tha hell up about how superior everything they make is, even when it has serious issues.
Yeah, that looks about the same as ME2. LOL JK
Especially when that knife animation has you moving the blade about three inches.
What irked me even more was the fact that I got booted out of at least half of the Mission games I started playing. From the beginning to the end of the beta, it never got any better.
Kinda wondered if DICE ever actually fixed anything the whole time. Heck, even the pictures on the gametypes never got switched. If DICE can't be bothered to fix a beta, will they be bothered to fix the actual game, especially since they have other projects ongoing.
