That was my biggest complaint, that and how driving is pretty well only going back and forth to missions, with occasional races thrown in. The driving was fun, I'd love to have a large, open world to drive around in, along with the good combat.
Also, the release date was a little off for me. Summer would have been a buy for me, but once fall hits, I'm saving for the big hitters of winter. Sorry, but I'm not putting RAGE over Batman, Uncharted, or Battlefield.
There's no doubt I'd buy more games if they spread them out a little more. I understand why they don't, but I can't afford the 8 games I'm wanting within the next month. I just bought Arkham City (which is fracking awesome!) and will buy Uncharted 3. Past that, I MIGHT be able to squeeze in BF3 or MW3, depending on what the majority of my friends are playing. I'll then be likely broke until I get tax return money in February.
Anyone who doesn't want to run the risk of spoilers shouldn't have hit any links. There is a huge spoiler warning on the title, anyone not wanting to find out should not go any farther.
It's a fun game. It has it's issues, like some truly ridiculous texture pop-in, but it's at least worth renting for a few days.
Nothing new, only maintenance... in case you don't want to click.
I didn't realize it was at all a sequel. I thought it was a whole retcon deal.
Who the hell knows. I'll still play it.
To me it looks like he becomes the Dante we're used to seeing. Maybe some sort of progression where he becomes more of the white-haired devil character.
I'm not really sure how to explain what I'm thinking, but hopefully you get where I'm coming from.
All I'd care about is actually being able to finish more than 50% of the matches I started without it taking a dump because of connection issues.
I did the exact same thing. I was raging about the controls until I figured out the switch. After that I was in love. And I actually like the dogfights.
As for the helicopters, I'm not sold just yet.
Pretty good for (insert roster update joke).
I want to believe. *cue The X-Files theme*
No, we're relegating this to real sports, not actors with a "soccer" ball. :P
I don't really care to make a list, and don't have a problem with most of this one, but it seems like this site has a hard-on for RPGs. Maybe they play so many they overlook other great games. Ah well, to each his own.
And I think that in a few weeks, we're going to be able to add Deus Ex: Human Revolution to this list. Just a feeling.
Care to say how? If can add the multiplayer right into Reach, so why buy this Anniversary game? I can rent it to play the SP, then download the MP maps later into Reach if I want to play them. I then have all of the multiplayer, and have played the campaign without buying it.
How about you figure out what is going on before you call people names?
Or if their favorite movie was Shakespeare in Love.
Have anyone seen if the version of Snake Eater is the original or the Subsistence version. I don't care about the extras that came with it, but I'd hate to buy this and not have the 3D camera.
I'd love for it just to be a prettier version of exactly what was in the original. But this just sounds basically like a map pack for Reach. Kinda disappointing.
Seems like a GameFly rent to me.
They also brought us the hot mess that was MW2.
You didn't read the article very well, did you? It also said that the jerseys will get stained. That one point means it is an entirely different football game from last year, thereby making it the best football game since 10-Yard Fight.
Geez, don't you know anything? :)
635.6 meters? Didn't realize there was even an area to see that far.
