I don't see a huge resemblance with the final version of Ellie. The original did look a bit more like Ellen Page, but even it wasn't a dead ringer.
Not to mention that current Ellen Page has even aged from the version from 5+ years ago people are comparing this to.
I wanted to answer this last night, but my work computer refused to correctly load N4G.
There is no way to know until someone can get costs from the manufacturers, which may take a while.
However, if I to guess the biggest difference is the fact that the camera is included on the Xbox One. With the specs it has, I doubt it is an extremely cheap part. Other than that, it's hard to tell. Sony has some slightly more expensive internals, but MS has a bigger b...
There's plenty of vents on back, but how much is on the front and sides? I don't see much room for air to get into it.
I'm more worried about that little thing overheating, being it has largely the same hardware as the Xbox1, along with an internal power supply, yet is in a much smaller box. I know Sony are better at this than MS, but that thing is just so tiny for a launch console.
Of course, my launch 360 cooking itself to death has made me paranoid about such things.
They may have the same stance in leaving it up to the publishers to impose a fee, but only MS is blocking me from buying an eBay game or shutting down my console if it doesn't "check in".
While I have no doubt both companies would rather you buy your game new, only one of them is trying to force you to.

It is one of the properties of Activision. I don't believe Sony ever owned it to begin with, though. It was always Universal, but they hired Naughty Dog to develop it for the Playstation.
Just in case, I'm not getting any new console on launch day. I got burned with a PS2 and a 360. If there are issues, I'll buy one after they get ironed out.

He comes across to me as someone who likes them, but isn't overly good at them. Probably doesn't have time to actually get good at them, either.
Either way, he's still much better than Conan is.

I think it's a reversed image. If you notice the other items, they are reversed, too. The camera button has the shutter on the opposite side, the speaker is opposite of what you actually see on Windows. The people and the hand on the button are oriented left-handed when you always see them right-handed.
EDIT: Also the cursor is flipped. While that may be the new controller, it's almost definitely flipped around.
This review does seem particularly harsh, like someone who was dead set against this machine upon first hearing about it. However, I also don't trust IGN when it comes to previews. I've seen way too many times they love a game... right up until it's release date.
I'm the same way. I chuck many an EMP grenade to take out enemy placements and fire many an anti-air rocket after UAVs and helicopters. Then I fire my FAL as much as my finger will let me until someone takes me out.
Better than a lot of the previously released footage. Still not that great, obvious cash-in.
And what's up with that knife slash attack? Has anyone in all of the Walking Dead universe ever done that? Seems to me a better option would be to make it a stab attack, but make it last longer. It'll kill, but you can't kill overly fast with it.
I agree with RE6, but I wouldn't say DMC was ruined. Yeah, the plot is a little flat, but the combat is pretty tight. Overall, very enjoyable game. Definitely a good start if they want to keep moving the series along.
I would undoubtedly buy any console that had a new Crimson Skies.
I don't need that many. If I don't actually know them or have played something with them enough to where I keep wanting to, I don't add them in the first place. I don't bother with the people who add me because I killed them 8 times in a round.
World War One setting might be interesting with it's trench warfare.
