The original Commandos was the game that made me buy a PC, I adored that series of games.
I'll definitely pick this up on PS4, if its as well executed as Shadow Tactics was, I'll be delighted.
Holy moly, this is a real blast from the past. Although I thought the game was pretty average, the music really was fantastic, amongst some of my favourite on Amiga along with the likes of Turrican 2 and Lotus Turbo 2.
Got the plat a few weeks ago, once you complete the story you unlock new colour schemes for your suit.
If you level up enough of the NPC's, you get quite a lot of customising options for your backpack.
You can level that accusation at almost any game though, games which impact the industry in a deep or meaningful way come along very rarely. Even then, I would suggest that it comes down to personal taste as to which games leave an impression on an individual.
I mean no disrespect squire, but the mere fact that you are commenting on an article calling for another Infamous immediately calls your opinion into question.
Love the infamous series, tremendous fun. I also believe Infamous Second Son was the first game I had played where I actually played as a bad guy, I was so surprised by just how much I enjoyed the experience as I usually play as a good-two-shoes 😄
I am excited more for Tsushima, but if a remastered collection or a new game in the series we're announced, I'd be more than happy to play it.
Nier Automata is nothing like the games mentioned in this poor article.
Nier is a game that is more about narrative and themes surrounding humanity, equality and even race, all wrapped up in a cool action RPG package. Games like Bayonetta are much more about gameplay and technique, and while they still have good stories, that isn't the primary focus of the game.
Its quite lazy on the part of the writer of this article to suggest that the games have a...
I am still waiting for the cloud to triple the power of my OG Xbox 1, I am still waiting for Hololense, I am still waiting for a performance increases from exclusive implementation of DirectX and Kinnect cannot be removed from XB1.
Every year throughout this whole generation he claimed it will be Xbox's best ever for games while nothing of consequence ever materialises, the guy can't even be up front about what is exclusive at his E3 events and what isnt. So to say people a...
I missed out on this on WiiU, I'll be making a point of picking it up this time around.
I missed out on this on WiiU, I'll be making a point of picking it up thus time around.
@Shiken
I agree chief, I can totally see why the game isn't to everyone's tastes, but it isn't a bad game per se.
I am a Sony fan, but like to think I am balanced enough to avoid the 'fanboy' label, but that is very difficult here on N4G. Personally, I really enjoyed Death Stranding and found the gameplay loop weirdly compelling, which may sound strange to some who take a reductive approach by suggesting 'you just deliver stuff'.
I recall having a great time with Darksiders, it was a tremendous title but I'd find it hard to put it ahead of some of my faves like God of War 3, Mass Effect 2, Halo Reach, Enslaved, FallOut New Vegas and my number 1 pick, Mario Galaxy 2.
It was the same with Days Gone fella, guess what, the PlayStation community bought that in droves and loved it too.
Pretty sure Death Stranding will be successful commercially too, so it good news all around really as it reviewed well enough too.
Completed it tonight, what a fabulous game. Working on the platinum now, the gameplay loop is really compelling to me for some reason. Happy gaming squire 👍👍
I respect anyone's opinion to like and dislike different things, but I have to say, WatchMojo is a joke of a YouTube channel. Just one top ten list after another with a few questionable choices to generate some clickbait.
Hmm, so I am not allowed to enjoy the game without being labelled a 'Kojima bot', whatever the heck that is. Different people like different games chief, no need to be so angry or childish about it.
You could try some constructive critism, I'd love the opportunity to have an adult conversation about the game.
I completed the story tonight and utterly loved it, I am now grinding away towards the platinum trophy so I figure another 8 - 12 hours or so. What a great game, can't say I have been disappointed in the slightest to be honest.
Given their Xbox puff pieces recently, it is kind of difficult to to perceive this article as anything other than another attempt to water down excitement for PlayStation. They really are a poor site.
Happily, I don't suppose any negativity on N4G is having an effect on sales, as its is sold out at most retailers in the UK.
I picked up Astral Chain and Fire Emblem over Christmas, no idea why anyone could be negative about Switch, it already has a fabulous library of games after just a few years on the market.
When the say 'original' I the article i believe they are referring to any model with detachable joycons (1st or 2nd gen) rather than the Switch lite.
Amazon have signed the death warrant of many retail sectors including videogames......... Still, at least they pay their taxes I suppose, right?
