For me, the only problem with the game you are referencing is its name; Returnal just seems like such a silly name in my opinion. Other than that, I really like what I saw of it especially the concept behind it, it seems very interesting.
I always try to be balanced with these things, personally, I think there is some merit in what you say about different cultures being represented in videogames. As a Welsh man, I too enjoy it when my country or heritage is referenced, I loved Drippy in Nino Kuni for example.
The thing you are missing in your assessment though, is that your heritage and my heritage has not been the subject of racism over hundreds of years in the same way African heritage has, and that makes ...
Pathetic attempt to muddy the waters for the purposes of attracting people to their site. It is no accident that the title of the piece is phrased in the way it is, they know precisely what they are trying to allude too, not that I consider these kinds of sites to be journalistic, but this is pretty shoddy journalism.
Pathetic attempt to mislead
Especially true of Kotaku.
It ain't a review without Jones' wonderful voice over.
Love and respect bro, love and respect.
Have a great weekend👍
The one review I will pay attention to!
I hope this doesn't get overlooked too much, I loved the look and humour of it. It's the only drawback to being revealed as part of a big event (especially such a stellar event like this), there are so many heavy hitters that it's easy for these smaller games to lose out on the limelight.
Well, the devs can be sure they are certainly on my radar, what a great looking title.
Hope Quark returns, love that character, fingers crossed for the groovitron too, I never tired of seeing the different dance moves of the enemies hahaha.
Blimey Pornflakes, it must be exhausting being in this much denial....you are cropping up in every article to pour water on people's hype. Save your energy, nobody takes your nonsense seriously.
It's was definitely one that I had no idea about that is now near the top of my wishlist, the artstyle was fabulous.
Still, some of the heavy hitters that I am anticipating more but all the same, this was such a great surprise.
Another platinum trophy to the collection for sure, flipping awesome stuff.
You are never just asking Tim, you are just a buzz killer.
God the Internet can be a depressing place..... Alway some miserable jerk looking to rain on everyone's parade.
The game looked fucking awesome!
Blimey, what a shitty attitude.
@Sushimama
Congrats then mate, you must be thrilled to bits...... Try an remember my name so that if you happen to invade me, you can play nice and not kill me😂
I know there are plenty of people who seem to hate BotW but I have to say, the climbing Vs stamina worked beautifully in my opinion and did lead to a much broader sense of exploration. If this was implemented into more games I would be delighted.
I can't say not having those mechanics detracted from Horizon however. I adored Horizon and will snap up a sequel in a heartbeat.
Yeah, fair points dude. I loved my PS3 too, helk of a console although, I think PS4 has surpassed it for me now....games just keep getting better and better I guess.
I am hoping for a remaster or sequel to Bloodborne on PS5 but I will ne really interested to see if there are any benefits to playing the PS4 version on PS5.
Have a great day duder, keep safe.
Hi Veneno, that's cool mate, and thanks for starting a civil discourse too. I take your point totally, and I would just restate, that I think BC is a good thing but I would ask you this, would the lack of BC stopped you buying a PS3 or would a lack of BC driven you to exclusively game on 360?
I want to be fair, because it would be wholly disingenuous to say BC doesn't matter, I genuinely hope PS5 has it but the point I hope I made was that it is such a small consid...
I prefer 60fps and I definitely notice the difference however, having grown up playing Amstrad and Commodore before picking up almost every console from Nintendo and all of the PlayStations, I have a really high tolerance for lower frame rates.
I lend my games to a few guys at work, they are all pretty typical gamers who just pick up the odd game here and there and I can honestly say, I have never heard any of them discuss how a game runs. I think you may be right, the ma...
