Happy gaming squire, it was a really satisfying platinum I felt 👍
I can only imagine the amount of hard work and dedication that went into every aspect of this game from such a talented group of people. An incredible achievement in my view.
It makes me really sad to think of such great people, who are trying their best to create these great works, being on the receiving end of completely unnecessary vitriol and hatred from a minority of utter cretins. I hope that the appreciation from the masses drowns out the noise from the vocal few. ...
Same here Sushi, got the Plat yesterday, I adored my first play through and honestly wouldn't have believed Naughty Dog could get me to empathise with Abby and co, let alone to actually like them. Quite the emotional journey for me personally.
Second run was equally as enjoyable and I found I noticed so many more details in the story too.
Incredible game in my opinion.
I wouldn't go that far personally. I think they may release old exclusives once they have served their purpose on the console.
It seems no accident to me that the likes of Horizon are release at the end of the PS4's life, the game served its purpose and drew people to the console, now they can exploit its popularity by selling to PC gamers. I dont think this translates to 'Sony exclusives will all come to PC'.
Gotta wonder what the point of this is, will anyone honestly be surprised to find that high end spec PC will result is higher frame rates and visual fidelity than consoles that have been out for years?
What is impressive is just how much Guerrilla squeezed out of these consoles, the game still looks amazing to this day.
Good decision by Sony to release the 1st game on PC, PS4 has had it exclusively for years now, I think it could draw some PC gamers to bu...
Hahaha, I hear you, Nioh 2 is sublime and it's a real shame that it will fly under the radar of so many.
Not to upset you though, but as much as I adore Nioh 2, I would personally still plump for TLoU2 as my favourite game of the year so far. Although it's an old game, I played Edith Finch this year which made a huge impression on me, I though that game was tremendous.

The same old tired arguements trotted out by insecure people who believe some false narrative that Druckmann built these games as a political instrument.
The fact is, the direction taken since Uncharted 3 has resulted in a much more mature, nuanced and carefully told stories. No more relying on 'nazi zombie monsters' or 'thousand year old blue warriors' or any other supernatural mumbo jumbo to tell a story. Instead, we get more adult t...
I am really excited too mate, I hope it's all you hope for. Happy gaming duder!
The gameplay they have shown looked pretty great to me, I am really excited to try this game.
Predicting a meta critic score on a hunch that they are afraid of showing gameplay, particularly after they showed a fairly lengthy gameplay sequence just a month ago, seems a like a bit of a stretch I think.
He seems like a nice guy and his enthusiasm is enjoyable to see, having said that, he does have some questionable taste in videogames in my opinion.
I assume you are okay with monsters that throw acid, others that have fungus growing out of their head which acts as a radar dish for their echo location......but having a muscular character is a stretch too far for you.
This kind of bullshit cracks me up....I have news for you, you are not a marine fighting monsters, but you still connected with Marcus Pheonix who's physical appearance bordered on the cartoonish. You still connected with an anthropomorphic hedgehog de...
I have to wonder at people who pick apart something like Abbey's physique, it's a videogame with fungus growing out of peoples faces to act as a radar dish for echo location.......I mean, it's a piece of fiction for goodness sake.
Do these people pull appart every piece of fiction the consume, whether it is cinema, games or books?
I cant believe they didn't give this a 10/10 😜
In all seriousness, I couldnt agree more with the review, as close to a perfect game as I have ever played, i absolutely loved it.
My arguement here is 'so what'?! Even if it was true that Druckmann wanted to include a more diverse cast of characters, why is this a bad thing, it wasnt to the detriment of the game. Any areas where race or sexuality might be touched on were handled beautifully as far as I could tell. Not once was it handled with a heavy touch, or forced or unrealistic, it was perfect.
Which takes me back to my point, why are some triggered by the inclusion of a kiss between tw...
Exactly, I don't recall any fuss about 'kissing' scenes or expressions of love between Nate and Elena in Uncharted 4, but a similar scene between people of the same sex is no longer taken as a story element in TLoU2, it is now a political statement.
I recall when the trailer released a year or so ago, showing Abbey being hung, I thought it may have been Ellie's mum.
God I loved this game, excited to start my second run through after work tonight, I am on the hunt for my platinum trophy.
**SPOILERS**
I think this is the nub of the problem Gatsu. I understand people being upset at the death of favourite characters in media, but I have never understood why people take it so personally. Some don't seem able to view the death through the lense of a story being told and recognise those feelings of hurt, anger and grief they are feeling are exactly what the writers were hoping for.
I sat in stunned silence at Joel's death, both my daughter and ...
@Karvorklestein
You realise your comment is essentially demonstrating the same behaviour you are trying to condemn, right?
I would agree with you for the most part, there is no need for the level of toxicity being shown by some in these comments.
Having said that, I think it is interesting to consider that Phil has gone on record as saying single player AAA games are no longer relevant (or words to that affect) so it does strike me as odd everytime I see him praise yet another single player PlayStation exclusive.
Yup, every game reviewing site is in cahoots, working as part of some worldwide conspiracy to make a game successful, it's so obvious now you have pointed it our........take your tin foil hat off duder.
