Although its gone quiet I am hoping a HotShots title sees a release before too long as these EA titles leave me a little cold.
Maybe if I see it for the right price down the line, but I can wait, my backlog is pretty horrendous.
While I think that the Sony and Bethesda conferences were better there is no question MS had a great show. It was enogh to lead me to pick up a XB1 to sit alongside my WiiU and PS4.
As if my backlog isnt bad enough as it is I now have Deadrising3, HALO MCC and Sunset Overdrive sat there waiting. I actually need all 3 systems to stop getting such irresistible releases :)
One that sticks in my mind is a Skyrim quest where you have to find a goat that you stole on a drunken night out...found that very funny and so quite memorable.
I know some hate remasters but I would by Skyrim for my PS4 in a heartbeat!

I bought it day one on PS3 and was just 2 trophies away from a Platinum. It was the game that got me into this genre of games, I went back and played the first to in the series as well the likes of Beyonetta.
The game really is incredible, a touchI liked was the making of documentary you unlocked which was super interesting.

Well I guess I am lucky that my gaming patterns have perfectly aligned with PSN's uptime because I cannot remember the last time I was affected by a PSN outage.

Just picked up Joshis Wooly World and cannot wait to play it, just have to get Halo finished off (which is harder than it sounds as I am getting hosed on Heroic!)
I would lay those same accusations at MS too, if it werent for 2nd and 3rd party releases we would be looking at Gears, Halo, Forza and Fable over the last 4 or more years and nothing else.

About 10 hours on PS4 and no issues yet.
I often doubt these kinds of story to be honest, after the backlash against AC Unity where the internet was raging but I played 40 hours of the game, (from day of release), with barely any issues at all and had a great time.
I am pretty sure there a plenty of XB1 games lovingbthere time with Batman and having no bother at all.
Its neither of the extremes.
Its a really cool feature but it has a limited level of interest. I am willing to bet that as a percentage, bc games will be a tiny proportion of the total games played on XB1.
I honestly never saw any outcry for backward compatible functionality, even when the consoles were first announced and people found out the consoles were not compatible I dont recall a backlash.

Perhaps I am being touchy, but I hate seeing article titles like this that state opinion as fact.
Having said that, having played a good 6 or so hours of Batman I can safely say its one of the best games I have played this year.
My personal fave is still Bloodborne and at the moment the only games on the horizon that looks capable of toppling it are Fallout 4, MGS or Battlefront.

I honestly dont recall seeing and real demand for backwards compatibility, it was something that would be nice but I never got the impression people were clamouring for it.
Fair play to MS, adding it is really cool but I find it quite confusing how all of a sudden, since the announcement, it is suddenly an essential function that huge sections of the XBOX community have been crying out for.

I always loved the Microprose titles personally, their packaging and keyboard overlays for C64 and Amiga were great.
