You're both short. :P
This and Mini Ninjas are the two games she wants the most.
Oh, good work Cat. Tell me...was Shane really tall or are you just a shorty?
:P
Zero I have to give credit to that reply.
@Blaster. Just don't take it too seriously. People are people and people are prone to doing things that don't necessarily make sense. Imagine how perfect the world would be if you got rid of all the people in it. ;)
Now you're just posting these to mess with me Cat.
One day I'll have my revenge.
*shakes fist*
Nice review Cat.
Are you jo...*looks at poster and comments*...that's just how I'd have scored it.
*smiles and backs away*
;)
You've upset the balance of the universe by posting a good article.
*shakes fist*
A persons sexuality is their choice and if the game itself doesn't cross any lines then I don't see how it matters.
If you're angry with Mr Card for being a jackass then take it up with him.
Nice work homicide.
You didn't need to call out all the fanboys.
Both sides came out of the woodwork to crawl all over this blog.
Very nicely done.
;)
I'm glad we had this little back and forth.
It shows me you're no fanboy yourself.
;)
Good to have met you.
My comparison was between Cell and Conroe.
Look Panda. The Cell is being beaten now by current chips but not by as much as you let on. It's bound to happen. It's taken a long time in tech terms to get there though.
If I were to say my PS3 beats my work station (not the little Pentium D I use for surfing or my 360 for that matter, as it does) I'd be lying. I've got an i7 (that's the work station) and it blows the Cell away in almost all areas. After three years of the Cell being ...
I'll answer it for you.
Let's take, say, the i7.
It's based on the Conroe architecture first released in 2006. The same year the Cell released. Care to guess which is the better CPU for gaming, video or audio? Which has more cache memory? Which has more power?
Now you're correct in that today’s CPU's are ahead of the Cell in most tasks. You do however seem to be overlooking the fact that a G5 is what the Cell is based on. Not what the Cell is.
As for your &...
What you're saying is pretty one-sided. Why are you leaving out the rest of what the piece says?
http://electronics.howstuff...
Oh, and what are current computer CPU's based on?
I'll just leave you with the last line of the article on the Cell.
"All of this amounts to unprecedented power for a piece of consumer electronics."
Making a game with fixed resources will show Crytek's skill. If the game is great it'll cement their place as a gaming powerhouse. If the game is anything but great it'll show ineptitude on their part and bring scorn from gamers the world over. Either way, I just want to see how it turns out when all's said and done.
this looks forum-iliar.
Before what?
Sorry I had too. :P
That headline makes no sense.
A format created by the government in China is outselling the competition in...China?
That's amazing.
A government know for a hardline stance on controlling it's population's freedom is introducing it's own format. This is a country that's so worried about state revenue that it has the death penalty for tax evasion. That's right. In China it's ok to steal anything from other countries as long as you pay the state their cut.
How did you all think this would go?
<...
Sure it had a few bad games. As a whole, the gaming franchise is quite good though.
The movies on the other hand make me cringe. They were terrible. Degeneration was the best Resi movie made so far and that's not what you'd call epic. Still it was far better than the live action crap.
I have no control over if they make this movie or not but I can control if I pay to see it.
With this in mind I can honestly say I'm not giving these ****ers a cent.
No I didn't think so. Why do you assume people don't read the "article" just because they don't agree with it?
This was a one-sided myopic article written by someone who didn't try to think past connection speeds and caps, image and sound quality or physical vs downloadable media.
Let me answer the headline's question. No. It isn't over yet and to claim a victory at this point shows a truly myopic way of thinking.
Sony has improved its position and that will lead to more games and services for it's users. Not MS or Nintendo giving up and leaving the market tomorrow.
