The general federal cybercrime statute – 18 U.S. Code § 1030 – Section 1030(e)(8) defines the term “damage” as used in the statute as “any impairment to the integrity or availability of data, a program, a system, or information”.

Microsoft have accessed hardware owned by individuals and removed programs and impaired the system without consent from the owner. Had M$ banned accounts there would be no problem. However messing with hardware without consent is a federal offence...

Are you saying DX11 cards don't use a different multi-threading system, Directcompute or anything else not found on previous cards?

You really don't think things through do you Panda? GPGPUs and the use of DX 11 mean a learning curve, no matter how small. It's a new way of doing things. Saying there's nothing new to learn shows you don't have a clue what you're talking about.

So you get a crisper image and a little more detail from the comparison shots shown. I think I'll let Dev's have some more time (not much mind you) to get around the learning curve of DX 11. In time I think you'll see a much greater increase in quality over DX 10 than you see here.

After reading the comments I can't help it. Can I ask a few question of you all?

To start with I'd like to know how many of you actual know what changes have been made to the Cell in the last three years? None of which can be used this gen due to alienating current PS3 owners.
The reason I ask is because the picture is of an old Cell chip. It doesn't sport the dual power supply for SRAM stability so you can't clock it at six gig like you can with the newer ones. That inf...

The movie the quote "60% of the time, it works everytime!" comes from is lowbrow to the point of obscuring a persons vision. Much like this "article".
Still. A problem with the European PSN store showing the system isn't perfect is the point Lewis is trying to convey. Looking at the comments I find it strange that people are arguing over the things they are.
YOU DID READ THE ARTICLE DIDN'T YOU?
"It doesn't do everything!"

As you say it is indeed worldwide.
I just for the life of me can't understand how any person with an IQ over eight could arrive at the conclusion reached here.

let me just get this straight. According to the French media the only factors involved in this near atrocity were one thirteen year old and videogames? His emotional and mental state were a direct result of said videogames? The videogames provided him with a shotgun, shells and the intent to commit this act?
Fair enough.
I have just one more question.
When did smokin' crack become a requirement for French people to work in the media?

So the US get three days of free use while Europe gets five. Trying mighty hard to entice Europeans there M$. I wonder why that is.

Asking for the point of view of that plastic gangster is like asking a toilet for it's point of view before you flush.

You know the only thing you going to get is crap.

Games being judged not on their merits but on sales? How the #&%@ am I suppose play sales?
Oh wait...it's N4G. Game on!

What model are you referring to? Actually don't answer that.
Good luck on your "truths" piece. That should prove to be interesting reading. One more thing Cat, "-- ----". (I think I'll keep that one to myself) :P

That was my first N4G podcast. Err...nice work. @ Cat. I'm hating the fact I have a copy of that game (R&C ACIT)! My gf has taken over my damn PS3 for the last week or so playing it.
I knew girl gamers would have to come with some damn drawback!
*shakes fist*

Tell me oh religious nuts (RN here after) of the world, if God created us in his own image and is all things to all men then wouldn't he be a gamer? Atleast to a few?

Don't get angry RN's. Just don't try to shove your crap down my throat!

Really? Even though we all know M$ are full of it this is just catching out a PR guy.

This is what proof looks like:

His logic is flawed though. By his logic someone buying a secondhand car is the same as a car thief. Car companies know it'd be a cold day in hell before consumers took this crap from them. I wonder why there's such a difference of opinion in the two fields. Shouldn't a consumer have the same rights no matter what the product is?

Come on Namco. We both know technology isn't to blame for the problems with this game. Lag, maybe. Campaign scenario? What the hell were you guys smokin'? That's some busted $&!#. I nearly went mad trying to play it.

Your actions do that. I enjoy the fact your comments make sense.
Good luck with your savings. I hope you get there.
As for your knowledge, you seem to have more than certain others I could name.
Now to what you were saying. Yes I'm very much looking forward to fermi. It has the chance to really make a big difference. Letting your CPU have Tflop sized legs on top of it's current performance is going to bring tears to the eyes.

5922d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'm hoping for above 2000mhz on the FSB. A lot more. No bottleneck is a good bottleneck. Casting parallels from the CPU to the GPGPU on top of the current workload through anything smaller is going to start limiting performance. The fact the PCI-E is 100mhz or 200mhz really doesn't mean crap. It's CISC based so it's large packets at slower clock speeds. If they keep the packet size the same and up the mhz then that would be something to see. You sort of have to go at it differently by looking...

The only thing holding GPGPU's back at the moment is the damn mobo bus speed. As you'd be aware, bus speeds dictates CPU GPU interaction. You wont be able to squeeze the most out of the upcoming cards until we get better bus speeds.

After that it's all gravy!
