Sure you did...and I was abducted last night by aliens wanting to know what makes the 360 "teh bidness" and where they could get one.
I preordered. They do "massive damage" alright. It's funny as hell to watch. Juice the blades' skill all the way up and a single blow sends an enemy flying into the air. The punch combos look wild so long as there's nothing to hit. As soon as you strike the enemy once it's over. I'd have liked a combo with them or something.
that's still not good news for gamers anywhere.
Another quality article for the masses. I'm wondering where they go to from here though. They need to build on this and further their reputation as being world class gaming journalists. Maybe a hard hitting story about the best games to play during a power outage would suffice.
From what I do understand though Australia is split into states and each state has an Attorney-General. They (the Attorney-Generals) all have to agree in order for a change in ratings to occur. A simple majority will not suffice. Is it just me or is that in itself just another broken aspect of the Australian system. As you say it lets one man dictate policy and that's just dumb.
"Mathematical models have always helped people comprehend the concept of stability."
Stability is a relative concept. It pertains to a fixed situation/observation/applicat ion/etc within a preset range. I have no idea where the hell you're coming from on this one.
"When a certain phenomena kicks off with a full on blast, you can -- more or less -- predict that, eventually, things will slow down and reach a point of stability where further growth is...
This entire article is based on what one person said. To make matters worse the last paragraph features this little gem:
"It is understandable that users feel betrayed and angered by the permanent termination of their accounts."
Microsoft went after consoles, not live accounts. This whole article is just a waste of space.
M$ might want to choose a different tactic. Seems "shock n awe" didn't work too well when George used it last.
Sorry. I had to.
How many of you read the article?
David Turek, makes mention of OpenCL being part of the new focus. A big selling point of OpenCL is when coding you have the ability to write once execute anywhere. (It doesn't quite work that way in practice but it's still a better system than the one it's replacing.)
Large numbers of cores don't require mad coding skills when using OpenCl. Parallel Compute workloads can be tasked to the CPU or GPU, it doesn't matter. You starting to see how it ...
Running around killing critters with that was fun. On the other hand though, how much have western dev's "borrowed" from eastern culture? I'm sure it's not a one way thing.
Some lines just shouldn't be crossed. Still, it wouldn't be the first time someone had strange feelings for software. Do you think they'll release a wedding mod for the truly twisted among us?
550 degrees, 15 comments (12 now) and no fanboy "my boobs are better than your boobs" trash talkin'.
*struck by sudden insight*
Alright! What have you done with the real BIoodmask?
that's an interesting prediction. There are a few holes in your theory though. Given the slow pace of internet infrastructure investment in some parts of the world and peoples attachment to physical media, ten years may not be long enough for global mass marketing of cloud based gaming to surpass current trends completely.
Going by some of his past "ideas" I'm of the opinion God ruined a perfectly good ass putting teeth in Wada's head but hey, it might happen.
If the author of any piece can't provide a form of proof or fact to back up their point, it's nothing more then a cry for hits. Using this method you'll be left with pieces you may not like but at the end of the day there is at least some substance to them.
Think of all the sites out there that create factless, myopic, one-sided or just completely untrue "articles" just to generate buzz/hits for their site.
From the article: "It’s his job, it’s his opinion and at the end of the day it created a large buzz and interest."
You do realize HHG uses the same methodology. That said, how is it that stating this you claim to be any different? You've come on this site attacking people while claiming that it is wrong to do...
Nintendo wouldn't be what it is today if it weren't for you. Your creativity is one thing the new breed don't necessarily come equipped with. (Why the hell am I writing this as though I were talking to him?)
:S
"there's alot Smart People in UK"
Is that your way of saying you're not from the UK. With a post that stupid I don't think you'd fit in there. Your comment is about an eight out of ten on the dumbass scale.
Nice work. Keep the laughs coming.
I thought he talking about more bans for a minute there. :P
On a serious note, what else could he be expected to say? He does work for M$.
@ Godmars. If someone makes mention of it to the Feds then the Feds are required by law to investigate. I don't understand why nobody has done this as it would cost them nothing.
@sephcor9. M$ are removing programs from 360s without consent. Even a system update requires consent so your attempt to spin this isn't going to hold water. As for the modder being the offender, they are the owner of said hardware and as such are free to do with their property whatever they wish (This ...
Running the graphics on max settings doesn't leave much for directcompute to take off the CPU. If anything it (Directcompute) just makes the CPU pick up it's (GPU) slack like always (albeit in a much more functional way). I guess it's still pretty impressive though.
