"Usotsuki". Until M$ deal with the image they have created in Japan they don't stand a chance.
Not well Toaster, not well at all.
I must admit though that I'm really looking forward to seeing fermi in action.
what the article is explaining (badly) is that a current 25 gig disk will have it's capacity increased to just over 33 gig using this index. It's not a new type of disk being released. That's why a firmware update will allow for its use instead of a new BD player.
Elven6, in order to increase layers on the disk, each layer needs to be more transparent than the last as blue light is prone to diffusion.
Nice of you to explain.
where are the actual numbers? All I see is a list of one to ten.
They stated they were forgoing major architecture upgrades last time around in place of working on an OpenCL back end for both AMD and ATI chips. The idea being you'd get a better net result when using the two chips together.
Like it or not the NVIDIAs' fermi still spots more cores than the competition and for the purposes of parallel computing that's going to make a huge difference. That said, I'll still be waiting on the benchmarks.
I just hope ATI step up to the challenge and...
I take it you never read "The Dark Knight" books if that's your take on the situation.
old.
1.4 has been getting press since July. I don't know why this news suddenly turns up on N4G now. Oh well. If you go in for old news I'll make your day...Obama was elected president. Sorry if I spoiled it for anyone.
*shakes head*
Hey "we won"...
"The history is like this.
N4G was split up in sister sites.
1) PS3 fan over to the 360 sister site to bash the 360 because it launched first.
2)360 fans got revenge on the PS3 sister site after repeated attacks.
3)N4G joined all sister sites and all was good for a short while.
4)PS3 fans attacked PS3 so much 360 fans wanted revenge and they bashed PS3 issues early on.
5)PS3 fans thinned out and the site w...
Thank you Odion.
what the?
Tell me. How do the Japanese view being lied to? You want to know why M$ can't catch a break in Japan? That's a good place to start.
Until M$ shows that they are an honorable company they don't stand a chance. The way M$ conduct business I wouldn't hold my breath on them proving it anytime soon either.
It's nice to see some people don't just cut and run when questioned.
What makes this funny is that this guy is serious.
Bayonetta May Cry is a fairly accurate description I think. Now that in itself doesn't make this a bad game but it does make it just another rehash.
The fact that a new IP is so very similar to an old one by the same dev shows a lack of creativity to me. I was more excited about the game before playing the demo than after. That's not a good sign.
@Rak - I have all the DMC games and the fourth was for me the worst of the bunch. Now if, like you claim, you've played them a...
That one used 8XI's and Opteron chips though.
This is still a very nice piece of equipment. I'm sure it does it's job very well. That said this particular system didn't come online yesterday. It's been at work for a short time already.
AMD/ATI have gone all out with OpenCL and the I7 is no stranger to it. Why do you think it outperformed the other CPUs so badly? The really amusing thing will be to see how the next cards will increase the CPUs tested here.
Bottom line is I wasn't as blown away with them as I thought I would be buy hey, these cards new. It'll be fun to see them grow.
The thing is if you were to run the graphics at a lower setting it'd give you a more accurate idea of the impact of directcompute on CPU's.
That's my only qualm with the results. PC vs console game quality had nothing to do with it. Anyone with more than six brain cells knows how that fight will end.
Toaster I think you'll find it's plastic with a silver finish. Nevertheless it's good to see you have the ability to consider these things. Many here don't display the ability. Have a bubble.
