No! Really? Microsoft said that? Here I was thinking they'd be telling everyone how good Google is.
*insert zealot comment*
On a serious note. Nice review Zero. It was well written (you of all people should know that's against N4G policy). I couldn't give a crap about the score. It was just nice to read an honest opinion from a gamer who actually played the game.
I bought it already.
Just laugh with me will you.
Metalgearrising doesn't know that the 360 sports a three core CPU, so it's down three cores to begin with. It has six threads. Two per core. Less bits per cycle processing than just about any chip on the market and a FSB that allows 10.8 gbs input/output simultaneously.
What he's written is completely meaningless.
See. A smile makes it all better. ;)
That kind of self pwnage (on MGR's part that is) is priceless.
You can install it on as many computers as you like and play without the disk. Then to make things interesting sign in with Ubi to access your save files. Forcing an account on someone just to regulate software distribution is a pretty cheap shot.
I believe in Rowshambo terms, it's now Ubi's turn to be kicked in the crotch.
That's long enough.
SRAM has nothing to with the MC bus. SRAM's a local pool. Memory mapping and read/write through the MC Bus refers to XDR Ram. With all the "experts" in this thread I thought I'd see if anyone would pick that up.
Thanks guys. That will keep me smiling for days.
So he's gliched the MC Bus and gained the ability to map and read/write to SOME memory (SRAM) while bypassing the hypervisor.
Outstanding. Almost useless but at least it's something.
I think MS are often "shady" to say the least and deserve to pay for the wrongs they've perpetrated on consumers. That said, this lawsuit is senseless. Nintendo run a very similar system (points) and this tool's not taking them to court. Microsoft don't round down or remove excess points after a purchase. They (the points) accumulate. I think this sad little man just caught a glimpse of all the lawsuits Microsoft have been facing lately, and the fact they settle most of them out of ...
"It is English, around the house means stuff in your house.
Its used all the time in sitcoms that play indoors.
Maybe youre too stupid to understand english?"
You know you're not allowed to insult people. Have fun in the open zone Foxgod.
*waves*
Edit: Nice touch with the "youre too stupid" part. See what you did there? ;)
while Jason 360 may be many things to many people, you don't need to post that trash. You'll only end up getting yourself banned and that's just going to make Jason happy.
"I expect Stewie to be quite pleased that he can abuse another object around the house."
Foxgod, can I have the english version of that please?
@ Armyntt, feel free to think what ever you like.
Money or ego. Now, there's not much money to be made by one guy hacking a PS3. He'd hit a different target if he was after money. That leaves ego as the motivating factor. He's doing it to prove that he can. That said, where's the proof he's done anything? This is all just noise. I mean let's look at this objectively.
-Hacker says he's cracked the PS3 but can't show anything to prove it.
-Sony says they are investigating.
Yet even though thought should pre...
6.4 - ""Do not get me rouging with pc costing a lot cheaper these day but the pc that is benchmarked here cost 2000+usd"
The hell? The article never mentioned any PC specs so you're just pulling that number out of your ass."
Agreed. Let's hope Demon5500 was wearing gloves.
It's going to be "one of those" articles is it?
*shakes head*
So this is what passes as news? Informative. Insightful. Relevant. These are just some words that don't come to mind reading about a guys' busted console.
What's next? "Gamer loses controller behind sofa!"
Thanks kotaku. Excellent work.
Thanks for that Charlie. Take a deep breath there will ya?
When comparing cards if you take a look at ATIs 5000 series, the architecture has MINOR upgrades. ATI themselves have stated as much. Their focus shifted to Directcompute. (That's openCL 3.2 for those who think it's something ATI actually came up with.) The next ATI cards are said to have MAJOR achitecture upgrades so manufacturing cost will be up on those. Nvidias fermi series are a completely new achitecture releasing...
31 minutes.
10 negative comments from Xbox owners.
The smell of fear. Priceless.
I like the look of this game. What it's doing to people is good for a laugh too.
I'm not trying to be funny when I say this. What the hell is wrong with this kid? How is she going to pay the ISP's bill now? Is stupidity really so rampant that...*looks around*...you know what? Never mind.
It's hard to believe that someone with such valid arguments has only one bubble.
OT. I liked the first one and all indications point to this being a worthy sequel. Picking it up is sort of a no brainer. Oh, don't worry. I didn't mention which system I'll be picking it up for. ;)
Why would you compare unfinished work with unfinished work just to feed the flamewar? It's either for hits or to reinforce the view that gaming journalism is a joke.
Well let me just say...outstanding work gameswire. Maybe next you could write about how a potato makes an excellent HDD.
