There's nothing new to report on Kinect so M$ resort to this. It's almost like M$ are just making noise to get any attention they can.

I don't care what people say. There IS such a thing as bad press. I get the feeling that if M$ don't cut the crap they'll find this out firsthand soon enough.

"SNCPPU" is all I can say. It just hasn't been out long enough for games that were created using it to hit the market yet. It has been out long enough for people who actually make games to know about it though.

Please people. I'm beggin' you. Read the #%@&in' article.

Comments are supposed to make sense. After reading the piece and most of the comments here I'm not seeing the correlation.

"If you buy the 360 version you don't get to see the last quarter of the game. Real bummer if you ask me."

Are you really that bored?
Were you trying to start a fight? Was it a joke?
I hope you weren't trying to be funny. If you were making a joke, I have some constructive criticism for you. You suck as a comedian!

OT- Jan 28 sounds good.

While what Thom says is true, it has nothing to do with recording gameplay. That can be done if dev's make it part of their game. PlayTV runs 2 codecs in the form of decoders. They handle signal overhead and such. This allows the PS3 to do things like play games while you record TV (even logged in to another account).

As such, upgrades you can look forward to with PlayTV 2 would be things like being able to decode/record 3D broadcasts. Watch HD broadcasts (as the format...

you're feeding a troll. Stop it. Yelling at an idiot leads to both parties looking stupid most of the time.

OT: Yes but LOW RES. All parties concerned need to deal with it.

not wanting to take a dump in anyones handbag but I don't think some are seeing this for what it is.

I see this as both an admission and shift in approach. It's a testiment to the Cell still proving to be a hard nut to crack. It also shows that "people" (DBs lookin' for an ego fix mostly) are trying to adapt and find a different approach. Many devices are cracked through an altered drive. Question is, do you think Sony thought of that too? I wonder. ...

Your one bubble tells me you don't need to start trolling. Rather you need to stop.

OT: I hate the hell out of golf sim's. Still. Who knows? If they get the controls right (regardless of platform) it may be a great game.

what do you mean?

"Our proprietary FreeMotion® technology (patents pending) is a computer vision library that allows accurate real-time tracking of the entire human body as well as background removal using regular webcams.

Nothing like Kinect!"

Are you saying you think the cameras on kinect aren't just webcams or you think Kinect isn't accurate? ;)

"I really am, very glad that the 360 having no titles in the Japanese makes you happy." I'm not sure what you mean. How many 360 titles "in the Japanese" would you like to see exactly?

Which leads me to my next question. Wouldn't that be rather messy?

From the article.
"Yes, Move does offer true 1:1 accuracy, but that need to be so accurate made what's supposed to be a casual game feel too difficult and frustrating."

Am I reading this right? Move's too accurate for casuals?
*shrugs*
Whatever.

Two Nowgamer employees tryin' to justify why this is ok.
All you did was group quotes from one article into the other along with a few quotes from other sites.

Nice work.

Edit: Better get busy changing the stories on the Nowgamer site boys. Maybe that'll convice people you're not DBs. Hey, I said maybe. ;)

Both "articles" by Nowgamer.
Both "articles" about what their "office" thought about 3D.
Both "articles" make the same points.
You posted the other "article".

By God! You're right
They're completely different./s

Please try hit whoring somewhere else.

The grey sacle pixel analysis takes place on the CPU. It has nothing to do with kinects' camera setup. This is what allows the interface to be deemed "3D".
Comparing one frame to the next is what allows you to calculate vectors for moving body parts tracked.
Yes I know there's a missing "about" in "You should learn what the hell you're talking before telling people "how it is"."

Unlike you I don't lik...

A web cam with a 320x240 res sporting an IR diode equates to 3D how exactly? No really. Explain it to me. What's that? You can't? That's because it doesn't. Kinect is based on grey scale pixel analysis of a single image then it progresses to the next frame and does the same. That's how you establish the vector. An IR image using this method has nothing to do with "depth perception". BS is BS. Post as much of it as you like. It'll still be BS though, no matter...

I'd have scored it a little differently but hey, your review was pretty good. As was the AIM thing you did. ;)
