"Yup, Verizon also turned away the iPhone! Who is laughing all the way to the bank now?" Err...what?
Verizon is a Telco. The iPhone is made by Apple. Verizon didn't pass up the chance to make or participate in making of the iPhone. How is that relevant?
If a publisher passed on kinect then your opening statement may have been appropriate. As it stands though, you just seem to be pulling things out of your...
Good luck with...
"This “code” would have game makers promote responsible gaming, including shorter play sessions and mandatory breaks."
See what I mean.
They want to force dev's to make games include manditory breaks (it has nothing to with content). If you play 8 hours of videogames a week and it takes place on one day do you have a problem?
It boils down to the French govenment wanting to dictate how long you can play games for in one sitting.
I can understand the introduction of an education program for people. There are problems associated with "excessive" amounts of gaming. However, I think trying to legislate a government based control mechanism on dev's is unnecessary.
People are responsible for their own actions. Please, enough with trying to change that fact.
*shakes fist*
It doesn't matter.
Look. Two webcams (one with a res of 640x480 the other 320x240. Remember one of them has an IR diode. Throw in a few mic's.) cost how much to produce? Don't laugh!
MS need to recoup the software/hardware development and the initial investment costs too. Thirty million to buy the idea/company and whatever else in software/hardware development for the interface (most of which existed at the time of purchase).
If MS sells a mill...
I enjoyed Darksiders. You could almost call it "Soul Reaver HD". Sure bits of it were a grind but the game overall was quite good.
That said, how the #&%@ is some guy finally getting the plat for a game front page worthy? Please, somebody explain this to me. What's next?
"Ransacking a recharge. An arduous journey to the USB cable"?
Once again N4G creates an internal conflict for me. I don't know whether to laugh o...
It's good to know that hidden deep within N4G a small flicker of sanity remains.
Good to see you my friend.
Edit: With that kind of upgrade I'd be able to see you're smile space I think. Just wait till you run OpenCL based goodness for the first time. You may need to tell your girl you need a minute of "alone time" when that happens. CONGRATULATION!!
Edit: With OpenCL is a simple case of more FLops to run the phys...
While I see where you're going. I think the most it would be is an ARM based replacement/upgrade from the 360's NEC based setup. (More RAM would be a given.) It's RISC based so you want it sorting streams of data rather than large blocks. It sort of fits the role. At this point though, who knows?
MS could be getting into another market.
Let's hope they don't spread themselves too thin. ;)

The price is a little high, but you can't argue with the results.
so correct me at any point if I didn't read this right. If you had your way the solution for racism would be...death. Nice.
I'm not trying to be insulting. Just strikes me as a strange way to spread a message of tolerance and understanding is all. Meh. What do I know anyway?
but aren't the countries of Europe as a whole tightening their belts? Austerity measures or some such. I don't imaging any politician in that region would think twice before scrapping what they would deem “nonessential” tax cuts. Given the circumstances can you really blame them?
The answer is yes. They’re bastards!
"Do you know anything?
1. MS didnt make Kinect, someone else made it and they bought it." Actually the original Z-cam you're talking about is different from "Kinect". A chip is missing and an IR diode has been added. The missing chip's processes are taken up as an overhead for the CPU. There's directional mic's as well. I'd say that makes it a direct MS product. Sorry to interrupt. You were saying?
"2. PS2 was...
chulonyc, have you encountered the ban hammer yet?
If you keep posting like this it's only a matter of time before you do. Please calm down. Personal attacks tend to get ugly. Nobody likes ugly.
Edit: Just some friendly advice.
We'll find something.
With "Nick" (the handle of a gamesthirst user) as the sole source of this fantastic news how can anyone question it's validity.
This is journalistic intergrity at it's finest!
Great work.
*shakes head*
This whole article reeks of desperation. To top it off the source of the figures provided is where exactly?
If you find it please let me know.
Well if you own a PC read the article and wonder no more. This thing seriously makes so little sense it hurts. As far as console gaming goes, it still doesn't make the most sense. As many have stated above me, artistic direction and gameplay are up to the dev's, not the engine.
On a side note...dchalfont, proxy, etc...How dare you bring logic and reason into N4G's comment section.

I entered PS3 is doomed into a google search and got 223,000 results.
I entered 360 is doomed and got 540,000 results.
The dates of the entries is the telling factor here.
2007-early 2009 for most of the PS3 "doom". 2008-2010 for most of the 360 "doom".
Now while it's easy to see how this all started, I'll let you make of that what you will.
Really?
Come on people. Don't overlook the source just because you like the story. vgchartz were crap back when they were falsely reporting low PS3 sales. Guess what? They're still the same crap site now.
*shakes head*
Look, write what you want. Just don't hit the link.
It's what keeps vgchartz spewing BS and I think we can all agree; The world would be a better place with less BS.
Kinect priced at £130 vs. PS-Eye priced at £22.98 (Amazon UK)
The games are "similar". The tech is "similar" as far as hardware goes. Kinect is worse actually. Before you start in with the "it tracks in 3D" trash, that has nothing to do with hardware.
Now, I have a question for you Mr Siddons. Is it your job to lie for MS in order to move product? Oh wait...it is.
