Nexomon Extinction was a banger. Loved that experience. To be honest the writing in that game is hilarious and carries so much weight that it trumps TemTem in my opinion. Way more variety in terms of creature rarity and variety from the start. Both story and lack of TemTem are what gives Nexomon the edge
Yup Bruce, my mistake
Agreed man, they could have used Bill again for some much needed comic relief, along with so much more in terms of nostalgia and setpieces. The pacing of the original is just unmatched. Also makes me wonder if Evan Wells leaving was part of the issue with this entry
Haha, this was a great way to break up the tension as you read from top to bottom
Have no idea how this game wasn’t Game of the Year for more outlets compared to TLoU
Some advice for you would be to add context to your opinion/gripe directed towards others
I’ve played and achieved the platinum for nearly every Naughty Dog game released including the Jak & Daxter remastered collection. I’m honestly tired of the talent going to waste on AAA visuals and tech. Make a game that requires me to do more than pick up ammo, put that ammo into a weapon and then using that weapon to wipe out waves of enemies - And then for my trouble upgrading a skill tree. There’s no thought process or things to look forward to in my opinion. Jak II & 3 came the c...
At least he gets to go work on a game with depth that more than likely will be an RPG of some sort
Really hoping the MH Stories series can make it’s way to other consoles in the future as well
LOL you ended that sentence perfectly
Nexomon Extinction was amazing as well, didn’t want to put the controller down even after 70+ hours. Should be in the same conversation
BRING BACK COLE MACGRATH
Pwease
But the Series X has 12 TFlops. How could this be
Lol I platinumed the game within the first week, so unless you’re just speaking in general about the average consumers that are deciding to complain (not directing your comment towards me) then sure, what you’re saying is possible.
I only speak for myself and my sole opinion. But yes in regards to a sequel, under the right guidance, experience, and leadership I am genuinely looking forward to what they think of next as well. Also hoping hordes can be effectively tackled ear...
The progression system was completely amateur. You would see upgrades for your bike but would literally be locked out of progressing majority of the upgrades until you reached certain story missions that provided enough credits. Huge jumps in credits that made hunting freaker ears obsolete as they became worthless at the value they’re worth. Essentially leading the ears to only be vital for the first 1/3 of the game. That is poor game progression design and part of why they were fired.
While the story was great in my opinion (subjective), and the overall game was good, marketing is what saved this title and allowed it to sell so well. There are so many fundamental flaws with the game that I’m very surprised it took Sony nearly 2 years after the game’s release (well into pre-production of the studio’s next title(s)) before they finally realized those two do not have the natural talent for AAA game development. Days Gone should not have taken nearly 6 years given the type of ...
Won’t those individuals who eventually purchase a ps5 be able to get the games at that time? PS Plus collection is not going anywhere and those titles are going to be around for a long time
Still felt as though FFVII Remake was more well deserving
Playstation Home 2.0
Unfathomable why they didn’t create an “app store” type of ecosystem, that permits creators to either put games up for free (with the option to accept donations for those wanting to support them) and another option to charge for their creations to be incentivized and Sony take a small percentage. Win win for everyone and would keep the dreams thriving.
