Ditto. I'm genuinely excited to see more of this new IP.
Who's uncomfortable?!
@castillo 5.1.1
"Just tired of this developers crap already . Plain and simple you don't go to bed with a hooker if your going to worry about matters the next day."
... what does that even mean in this context?
This same issue again. What does it matter? You want to play the game, but you won't play the game because the developer doesn't want to burn any bridges with platform owners?
How does that impact your enjoyment of the game?
Prebooks on the Xbox One must be worse than we thought.
If you watch the mother base demo, you'll see other players have different logos/initials. It looks like a customization.
Really. All that does is reduce sales on the Xbox One. How will that make Avalanche want to support the console?
@castillo: He's a developer, not a political candidate. And I don't see what his likes or dislikes have to do with your enjoyment of a game. I enjoyed GTAV just fine even though I didn't have a Xbox 360 at the time of the DLC release. It didn't make me not play the game, or buy it used. What if he likes steak and you're a vegan? Are you going to like his game less?
So you would have forgone a game that you obviously want to play, just because the developers expressed an opinion about a console? What would that have accomplished?
If you facepalm someone else, isn't that just slapping a guy?
Seriously. I'll watch anything with Lance Reddick in it.
Seriously. I don't know why we need fifteen of these articles. Are we really to the point where we're reading articles about the way video game companies schedule their advertising? Let alone multiple articles?
The show is passable, but the game was atrocious.
What I would consider Remedy's worst game? Death Rally I guess. I'm not saying it's a bad game, but in a list of things one has to be subjectively best and worst, and that would be the one.
I'm also not great at racing games, particularly ones that have unusual perspectives, so your mileage may vary.
Too bad they never did a second one. Like I wish they'd made a sequel to the Indiana Jones trilogy.
Droll. And unnecesssary.
Video GameRs Need More Sex. Don't we all?
It does look pretty good, with an interesting power set and intriguing story line. I'm a little dubious about the TV tie-in, but at least they have a decent cast to draw on so hopefully that turns out okay. I'm sure the game will be great though, because even Remedy's worst game was a lot of fun.
I'm willing to wait until it's closer to done to form an opinion, but I'm glad that I'm not the only one who was somewhat disappointed. It's still in alpha, so its not a deal breaker, but reading the previous posts about how amazing it looked, I was starting to wonder if it was just me.
The interesting thing about the Mafia games, is that they're directly tied together with events of one affecting the next. With Vito in the game as one of your lieutenants, it looks like they're carrying on with that tradition, so it would have to be in a later era. I'm confident that they'll craft a compelling story set in the period, possibly using the Dixie Mafia as a template.
