Its selling out immediately any time a retailer opens up pre-orders, so I'd say that they're certainly hitting their targets. If anything, I'm guessing they've underestimated the demand.
EDIT: The initial production run for PSVR was apparently 2 million units worldwide.
No, I was replying to Cy's point about knowing right away unless it pulls a "BS twist". Indigo Prophecy for example was a brilliant game until the last hour or so when it completely went off the rails. You'd honestly be better off playing the whole game right till the last hour, then shutting the game down and making up your own ending.
Forbes again throwing out some clickbait in the hopes that you'll disable your adblocker to respond to it.

Man, I have to have that looked at.
@rainslacker: "news"
No basis in fact for that entire statement.
"Hey guys, you want to know about Neo? Well tough, cause no one knows anything. So since you're here anyhow here's a bunch of random speculation that's just as informative as the discussion you might have around the water cooler!"
@Naughty_Cloud: Actually, after they tweaked the ending I was less pissed off about it, not leaving the Alliance fleet stranded in Earth space, not arbitrarily killing two members of my crew who I specifically chose because they were most trusted to go on the last mission, and not rendering interstellar travel impossible throughout the comsos because... reasons.
After that, the weird choices were just weird instead of weird and infuriating. It was just so disappointing aft...
You don't hold press events for a slim console revision. That's a footnote. The press event is for the *other* big announcement.
I think you mean:
1.3tf vs. 1.8tf = 38% difference
6tf vs. not announced = ??% difference
It is when its the staff of Gamingbolt in the N4G community that's approving them.
What else would a developer or publisher say about their own game? "Wow, you really shouldn't buy my game. Turns out, we wasted four years on a big pile of crap."
EDIT: @ApolloTheBoss: Pedantic quibble aside, developers would talk about their game in the same way as a publisher, likely moreso since they're the ones directly responsible for their performance.
Star Trek Bridge Crew focuses on exploration... and yet does not have a Science officer station.
....pardon?
Just do it, Sega. And while you're at it, a Shining Force remaster wouldn't go amiss.
I miss Jackie T, and his weird hand gestures.
Well what else was he going to say? :)
@Gearsofwar_xbox: Nah, that's just wishful thinking. No other major event till... what, TGS? And I can't picture them announcing there.
@gangsta_red: At the time, Sony wasn't charging at all.
@Death: Its not like Sony and Microsoft have the same board of directors that make decisions in lockstep. Different companies make decisions based on different factors.
The Xbox Live subscription went up from $49.99 to $59.99 way back in 2010, and for the same reason: inflation.
"Occasionally, we update pricing in a given market to address shifting market conditions – for example, material fluctuations in currency value. We do so keeping in mind that our goal is to offer our subscribers premium gaming and entertainment service at a fair price. "
@CK1x: it means something if every retailer is saying the same thing. Go and try to find a place that will take your pre-order now for launch day, and you'll see. Plus the usual nonsense of pre-sales on eBay are appearing at 200% retail price or more.
