Zing. But seriously folks.
EDIT: Seriously? Disagrees for that? Watch the video. It has a measured, even analysis of the Xbox One debacle and offers a strategy to counteract the current image problem Microsoft has. It doesn't even mention the hardware gap between the consoles. It's not one sided, it's not biased, it's journalism. Regardless of your loyalty, you cannot dispute the fact that Microsoft has not handled this launch well.
Take your time on those Fishers, Overkill. I'm good.
Flasback was so much better than Fade to Black. Maybe if this remake does well, they'll fix that game too. :)
Awful big of them to let you buy the same game twice. Maybe that will be a reason for some people to buy a Xbone. But I doubt it.
I'm a big PS4 advocate, but this piece is pretty one sided.
The difference is that in Star Wars, the Empire *lost* ;)
It's nice to hear praise for the system, but to be fair I listen more when someone from a major company does it, like Ubisoft or Gearbox. I can't wait!
This is a blatant clickbait article. They could have just posted the link to the same Los Santos tour as everyone else and been done.
To be fair, they'd had a price cut by the time all those came out. But I did buy a 60Gb Fat when they launched the Slim and dropped the price on the old stock. I bought mine for Uncharted. ;)
Works fine for me, except on Tuesdays. It's a bit slower the day everyone starts downloading their Day 1 Digital copies of games.
On that topic, what Xbox One games are confirmed for the launch window?
@Saddam_hussein: Until Microsoft stops avoiding the question about the speed of their GPU, you're never going to get an official statement. Take into consideration that Microsoft is willing to perform a mandatory overclock of every system to keep up with the PS4, you can infer that they're worried that their system is significantly underpowered.
@Mystogan: How? The PS Eye is $60 bucks, so they'd still be cheaper if it was packed in. Plus you don't need to buy a "Play and charge kit" for all of your controllers. So that's additional value. Also, the GPU is superior than the XBone's so that's extra value right there. If my choice is between a mandatory Kinect sensor or less money for a more powerful system, I think Sony made the right choice.
@Slimpickens: Those cameras you can disconnect at least. The Xbone will not function unless you have your Kinect 2.0 "kinected". There is absolutely no justification for that requirement whatsoever. Why does your system *need* to be able to see and hear you at all times, and not just when you're using a game that needs it?
What the hell 2K? Stop making me not like XCOM.
@Antwan3k: I think you mean the PS4 is nothing more than a graphics upgrade to the Xbox One.
@JamieL
Microsoft is providing a solution to a problem no one had. They're not innovating, they're trying to emulate Google TV and Apple TV and capitalize on a new market. What they are not doing, despite their E3 insistence, is focusing on games. Don't fault PS4 for giving people exactly what people want: the most advanced gaming console available. I don't need a cable box with a clapper.
Because it's not World of Warcraft?
First of all, they could have left it in and still been less expensive than the Xbox One. Secondly, is it really a sacrifice if not everyone even wants one?
I for one support our Android overlords...
