Hey buddy, who do you think assembles the Xbox One?

Not to mention just about every major electronic device out there. Yes Foxconn suck. No, it isn't a secret. Yes, people should be aware and make companies be responsible for their choice of manufacturers. No, it should not be used as a cudgel in the console...
Its not perfect, but its not worth taking the clickbait to call this guy an idiot.
Done and done.
You want to know how this is bad? The Kinect interface was suffering latency issues before with 10% processing power reserved. How bad is it going to be now with that reserve taken? Why bother with the Kinect at all if this is how they're going to handle it? They're treating it like a peripheral, not a necessary component, and now they're raiding its resources.
You tell me. The board fired him to appease ValueAct. Now ValueAct has a seat at the table that he no longer runs. As a result, stock prices went up. Ballmer doesn't own 19% of Microsoft. Not even Bill Gates, who is the largest individual shareholder, owns 19% of Microsoft. Ballmer owns under 5%, and he can't block a popular opinion alone. The Xbox Division's operating margin for the past 12 months was just 8.7 percent, versus 34 percent for the entire company. Its a constant sour...
I'm confused as to why they made a point to say PS4 games will take so long, when the Xbone's games will be the same size. Its not as though their version of multi-platform games are going to be somehow magically smaller.
1812 Overture.
You mean the guy who since retracted the statement, saying they were PS4 devkits and lost all credibility?
Before you start down that road, look at the Xbox Division's finances. The Xbox (zero?) never made a profit, losing four billion dollars during its lifespan. The 360 lost another three billion and has only started making money in the last three years, but its a drop in the bucket compared to their other divisions, and not nearly enough to justify the PR black eye the Xbox One launch has given them. ValueAct pressed for Ballmer's resignation, and now they're pressing for Microsoft ...
Nope, it doesn't.
Or maybe there aren't any issues, and they're genuinely confused. Your XboxFun trolling aside, my version has been running perfectly since midnight Tuesday, for roughly 18 hours a day without a single issue. Aside from insomnia.
Bullshit. All this time Sony has been saying that the PS4 is the most powerful console on the market. They could get sued if it weren't the absolute truth. All Microsoft would have to do is say "no, they're not" and quote some stats to back it up. That would shut everyone up. Instead, they hedge and say, wait and see. Or power is more than stats can say. They put out press releases every day to make sure that people think that maybe it isn't as bad as it seems, but it is...
This was supposed to be a flagship motion control game, specifically designed for Kinect. What does it say about their confidence in the peripheral if they can't even make it work properly in their showpiece title.
Don't feel bad. Lair for PS3 was a motion control only dragon game too, and in the end they added in the option to use the controller because the motion control was awful. So I'm a bipartisan dragon motion control game critic.
None of what your saying has anything to do with brand loyalty. It was a combination of Xbox 360's year head start, Sony's price point, and the difficulty of programming for the Cell processor that hamstrung the system. The PS3 is still outselling the Xbox 360 worldwide, and if you looked at where the 360 was in console sales a year ago, in North America you'd see that at the same point in its life cycle they would not be selling as well as the PS3 is now. No one gives a damn abou...
Exactly. You'd think that the digital version would be having the same issues, but that isn't the case.
Though eloquent, I reject your premise. I wasn't expressing a preference of one platform over another, only commenting on the constant interviews that Microsoft's PR department has been engaging in on a daily basis to defend their console's merits.
As for myself, I will be happy to admit that "the other camp" has some good things once in a while, just as soon as they can demonstrate that they do.
Survey says: SUCKED
Number one answer.
Another day, another Microsoft PR damage control article.
Sony did their reveal day and date of the announcement. MS just did four months of damage control and quoted no statistics other than 5 billion transistors. I don't think they'd be taking body blow after body blow in the press if they had a rabbit left in their hat to turn the tide.
God, I wish they'd do a proper sequel to STALKER. (Horrible acronym and all).
