See MAG really never did it for me. I was a huge Warhawk fan, and thought this had an interesting concept but for whatever reason I played it only a couple times before shelving it and never came back. I'm not against a second entry, but I'm not sure that they wouldn't just be throwing good money after bad.
Actually, Microsoft needs the Xbox One launch to be successful if they want to retain the Xbox Division, otherwise the board will continue to consider selling off the Xbox and Bing properties. Compared to their other divisions the Xbox costs them not only profit, but also PR losses when issues arise like "always online" initiatives and Don Mattrick's gaffe with Geoff Keighley. Microsoft has the war chest to back it regardless, but the question is will they continue to do so.
Why do you keep posting that link?
I'm sure that when Nintendo releases a next generation console they'll give the PS4 and Xbox One a challenge.
Sony doesn't have that requirement at all. How did you come up with that?
Its hardly a PSN issue if it's the same issue that was happening on the 360.
If Microsoft had sold 2 million consoles, they'd be shouting that from the rooftops after Sony gave sales numbers today. There's no way they'd let that pass if they could say anything to counter it.
I stand corrected. Hell no.
Wakka wakka
True, but I think he should still win points for even knowing what the meme was, even if he didn't emulate it properly. :)
No.
...seriously?
So have we decided if this is a colossal hoax or not, yet?
Sony has sold 2.1 million PS4s. Don't forget that the PS4 launched in the EU on Black Friday, so most of their stock was not in North America that day.
Or the PS4 made more consoles and sold them all before Black Friday, rather than having extra left on the shelves for sale. Not to mention, most of the stock for Black Friday was sent to other places. Like the whole EU launch on the same day, for example.
@DiRtY: Which two games were those? They've only done one game in the past two years, and that game was given away to Xbox One owners, of which there are certainly not 8 million.
Rare's employees went on to join Free Radical Design, and released the very popular Time Splitters 1 & 2 among others, well before their critical misfire with Haze.
The Xbox Division is still losing the company money, and is under serious consideration for sale along wit...
Assuming you consider those things advantages.
Mmmm. Division. The best game I ever didn't know I wanted until I absolutely had to have it.
Take note of the opinion piece flag. There's no actual information about a sequel, and based on Quantic Dream's past track record, they're unlikely to revisit a previous game to make it a franchise.
