Badly.
You don't think they might be announcing some games at the same time?
You might want to wait a few months until you at least know their strategy with Scorpio.
Sigh. Points in order:
- The PS3 was still sold at a loss, as a vector for the Blu-Ray format. It was still too high at launch, but they had other goals in mind.
- Proprietary storage is a sales strategy to support the sales of a platform. That way the base model can be sold cheaper, and some of the revenue burden can be shifted onto the peripherals. Just like the 360 did with their hard drives and wifi adapter at launch. Otherwise the base platform would have to be more exp...
You guys all know that even though you can't *buy* the games digitally anymore, you can still download them again if you'd already purchased them. Nobody is getting screwed here.
Sorry, I asked for actual data that can be verified, not grainy youtube random ranting.
You say, "I'm not your dad, I don't need to hold your hand. Not to mention I can't post links." I'm not asking you to hold my hand, just provide proof for your statement. As for links Sciurus_vulgaris posted a perfectly good one further down, so I don't know why you can't.

The quote is "I would say that generally speaking there’s probably a lot of improvement where it makes sense", because "PlayStation is a business that is known to iterate and to evolve hardware products."
That's a far cry from PlayStation VR *needs* "a lot of improvement"
Of course not, I'll... WAIT A MINUTE!
That's retail statistics omitting the rapidly growing digital market, so of course it's showing a decline. This is only half the data.
Link?
Source please? Everything I'm looking at shows a net increase in revenue, aside from those sources who are not showing digital sales.
Especially when your library encompasses three separate PlayStation devices.
I'd like to see the data that this statement is based upon. I don't accept your premise absent that proof.
Such a cheap, pandering way to attract people to a terrible game.
Good. I hope Nintendo brings down the awesome legal hammer of justice on their tiny bitter hate filled heads.
Its because the developers fabricated a video showing gameplay that was actually just a target render when they didn't have any part of the game built, got money from the government through familial ties for a game that didn't exist, and still might not. I won't believe anything about this game until I see gameplay video from someone other than the developer. Independent confirmation is the way to go.
I don't give a crap about exclusivity. I wouldn't buy...
I'm sorry, I'm not sure where the love for this game is coming from. With a promising start, it pancakes at the end hard. Its literally the most abrupt and disappointing ending I've played since Indigo Prophecy / Fahrenheit. It feels like they ran out of money to create the ending they wanted or had to do a quick re-write under a time crunch.
I agree with everything you said, but still counter with the combat being jumbled and magic being a complete charlie foxtrot with friendly fire damage. Still enjoying it, but I certainly had to make some compromises to do so.
Firewatch is a terrible game, that feels like it ran out of money during production. After such a big setup to the mystery, it completely fizzles out and finishes with the dramatic equivalent of a wet fart.
Reminds me a lot of the sudden dive that Fahrenheit / Indigo Prophecy took in the final hour.
Phil Spencer has made some extremely good calls since taking over from Don Mattrick, turning around what was nearly a catastrophic launch and building back to a powerful brand. Asking this question is ridiculous at this point.
