You don't find what Spencer actually talked about this week interesting?
No problem. I usually structure the show in such a way that the biggest discussion happens at the end of the news section, particularly if there are other topics that lead into it that provide shading to the discussion.
The time stamps are for those who want that one thing specifically, and don't need/want the other discussion. Either way, I try to respect people's time.
What's interesting is the things that Spencer talks about off handedly in the middle of talking about Scorpio. Taking them into consideration alongside their strategy on the Play Anywhere initiative, it makes for some interesting discussion about what's next for Xbox as a brand and/or service.
As you can see from the time codes, we do go through a large number of topics. This is an expansion of last week's Scorpio heavy episode, and a callback to the very first episode where we discuss Microsoft's long term plan for the Xbox brand beyond consoles.
But if that one point is all you want to listen to, you can certainly just skip to it, listen for 24 minutes and then turn it off. Or not. Your call.

Xbox leadership keep using that word "Premium" when talking about the console, to condition you for the sticker shock. $599 won't happen. It would be DOA. $499 is high but not out of consideration. Personally I think they have to take a bit of a loss, and pack in a month of the Xbox Game Pass for free.
$449 is probably the sweet spot.
Hey, OB1Biker. No problem, but I'm not sure exactly what you mean. People have been reacting to issues with the game well before release. I think in some cases they are making mountains out of molehills, but there are certainly some issues with the animation that are distracting. The bigger issue for me is the sheer number of issues I had with quests being broken and/or triggering objectives out of order.
Anyhow, my point is if I gave a review of X value, and didn'...
Biased yes, but not by other people's opinions. Just my own expectations. The game won me over though, for the most part. From a strictly non-scientific standpoint, I imagine the number of people who's first Mass Effect game was Andromeda is comparatively small. It is certainly positioned as a soft reboot, which is part of my issue with the game, but as a standalone title it does its job relatively well (despite sanitizing some of the history of the Salarian/Krogan/Rachni issues, and ...
Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy IV, Uncharted 4, Front Mission 4, Ace Combat 4, off the top of my head. I'm sure that there's more that people could come up with.
I agree, but at times in the early hours it can be really distracting. Looks like as of Thursday it won't matter though, as hopefully Addison will have less puckered lips and glassy eyes. She really is hard to look at now.
There's a lot of inaccurate assumptions you just made, so let's step in here one at a time.
I purchased the game well before any reviews were out, so I was under the influence of no reviews at all, and have not been influenced by them. I was not expecting to like the game because of Bioware's soft reboot of the universe, and their cop-out on reconciling the ending(s) of Mass Effect 3 and all of the controversy that came with them.

The simplest comparison I can make is between Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. It uproots the setting to a new location, keeps the structure of the same universe, but introduces new characters. With that as a starting point, it makes its own story.
Technical issues can be patched, the human non-crew NPC faces/animations... might/might not be fixed? Either way, it didn't stop me from enjoying the game.
I have finished the game. It has issues, and takes a long time to get into the meat of the game, but is actually quite good. It feels like Mass Effect, but is definitely moving in a new direction. People can nitpick about the design of the minor NPCs looking weird (they do) or the occasional weird animation on the humans (it happens), but the game turned out to be a good entry in the series. It's not the best Mass Effect in the franchise, but I would stand it up against the original ME an...
There are several broken quests, or rather, several quests that can break which forces you to revert to a previous save to fix. Unfortunately I have two that are currently broken awaiting a patch, with three more that I was able to fix by reverting and trying again.
I don't know about him being an egomaniac, but I don't know how he got to be this visible figure. His track record is spotty at best.
People who believed that Switch would be different. I hope it still will be some day, but for now I cancelled my preorder.
