Right. I don't accept the premise of the argument, and there's really no evidence to justify the statement.
I hope so as well, but I'm not certain that this can be regarded as a franchise, having only one previous game that is entirely unconnected to this one.
Right in the Bethesda post:
"We also understand that some of you want to read reviews before you make your decision, and if that’s the case we encourage you to wait for your favorite reviewers to share their thoughts."
If people are concerned, if people have even the slightest amount of doubt whether the game will be good or not, don't prebook the game, don't buy the game until reviews come out. Its not as though there's a possibility of shor...
Strange. I agree with you.
Again? If you're talking about peasants and casuals, you should be buying a PC.
Who are you, Charles Dickens?
They wouldn't be spending a year tagging every discussion about the Scorpio with the descriptor "Premium" if it was going to be the same price as a PS4 Pro. Also, with the hardware they're putting into it, they'd be taking a huge loss on every unit.
With only two years left in the life cycle, they're not going to be manufacturing hardware at a loss.
Can't help but notice that a ton of third party exclusives aren't mentioned on the Sony side.
Unnecessary.
Off the Record was good too.
It can be two things. The changes to DR4 certainly didn't do it any favors.
Well the game is over 30 years old, so it isn't exactly revelatory, but frankly you gotta respect the brass balls the man has in just about any aspect of his life.
I think its about time. His Yakuza movies are incredible, so its a natural fit for the franchise, and a perfect addition for Kiryu's last adventure.
Alternately, through his actions he exposed his company to massive litigations from Zenimax and doesn't have the cache that John Carmack does to keep his job.
Michael Pachter says "So Sony is gonna lose market dominance when you can play Call of Duty without a console, and that’s gonna happen in 2019 or 2020. So in the next 2 to 3 years, you’re gonna have the opportunity to download to your PC and play on your T.V."
uh... Pachter? You can do that now. You could do that 5 years ago. You know that Call of Duty started as a PC franchise, right?
Do you know where you are right now?

I guess we'll know for sure soon enough when reviews start rolling in.
I think perhaps you've confused the discussion of what Phil Spencer said with one of the hosts' interest in such a model. Phil Spencer's direction is more along the lines of Trip Hawkins's concept of the Xbox brand as a service.
I've been able to get refunds for PSN games before, such as Kerbal Space Program which is a completely broken port on PS4 and Xbox One thanks to the clumsy ministrations of Flying Tiger.
Its not PR, its a fact. Just wait till reviews come out if you are concerned that they're trying to hide a bad product. No one is forcing you to buy on day one.
And if you're worried about pre-order bonuses, just wait until it drops in price and buy the pack. They always release that stuff in post release DLC, and you'll probably save money and still get your reviews.
