In the way that a random issue is portrayed as a "Major Glitch". As if it were frequent, had happened to multiple people, somehow broke game progression, or some other way that would make this anything more than a random issue that happened once.

Super click-baity title for what amounts to a minor issue in the game.

@Tsar4ever01: Um, go read it again. He was being sarcastic.

Connecting a SNES to your 4K television will display games in 4K, that's not the same thing as repeatedly implying that Madden will play in 4K Ultra HD.

On the contrary. The second game was much better than the first game, mechanically, in characterization, in story, and in fun. The reason people aren't buying the second game is *because* of the first game and how mediocre it was.

Have they fixed the saved game corruption issue yet? Because even if they have, the interface and UI on this was not optimized for console. Its basically the same as the PC version, just with worse controls. Avoid all console versions of this game, and just buy it on PC for less money, less issues, better performance and more mods.

Got news for you. Final Fantasy XV doesn't run smoothly on any system, PlayStation or otherwise.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Mafia III and Final Fantasy XV. Disappointing? That's a real hot take, there.

No, it wasn't better than E3.

That doesn't mean that it wasn't great though! :)

@zodiac909: I don't think it has much to do with caring, so much as wanting to be able to continue to exploit for revenue. For better or worse, its their property so they have the right to be the ones to make crappy games for a quick buck at our expense.

As much as I join with you on the FKonami Train, game developers have to challenge trademark infringement or risk losing control of their IP.

That said, it might be better for those IPs to NOT be owned by Konami, so...

@Alexious: You save the big guns for when you're competing with other platforms for press attention, like at E3. PSX is the time to show off the games to fans, and they brought a lot more stuff than I was expecting. Copying the list from above: Wipeout Omega Collection, Ace Combat 7, Patapon, Parappa the Rapper, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite/3, Ni No Kuni II, Yakuza Kiwami (and Yakuza 6), and of course The Last of Us Part II.

Besides, people just complained about the E3 ga...

"After an otherwise unremarkable PSX 2016 showcase". There's no pleasing some people.

Or maybe I was the only one excited to see Wipeout Omega Collection, Ace Combat 7, Patapon, Parappa the Rapper, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite/3, Ni No Kuni II, Yakuza Kiwami (and Yakuza 6). Man off the top of my head there's a whole crapload of things that I was not expecting to see that were pretty awesome. I was going in with pretty low expectations, and it turned out to b...

Well for one thing they would get commercials which would pay for the event to happen, commercials which cost a lot more since more people are watching. Think of how much ad-time at the Superbowl costs, and that's because of the audience each commercial gets. The only way that Geoff Keighley can produce the awards is with corporate sponsorship, and with not as many people watching The Game Awards, the ads sell for less money, which means there have to be more of them to pay for the show. ...

Geoff Keighley is mounting The Game Awards on the internet, without a network backing him. In order to afford all of those very heavy award statues, they have to have "commercials" paid for by the gaming companies. If those commercials happen to take the form of a game reveal, all the better, but their revenue offsets the cost of mounting the ceremony each year. Without them, there would be no speeches at all.

It seemed a pretty bad excuse to push back a troubled game that's been in development for 10 years, then turn around and say that it's because they didn't want a massive day one patch. There was exactly one thing they had to avoid in order to get away with that statement, and it was not hit us with a 7.2GB download next week.

You had one goddamn job, Square-Enix!
