What if we do not get diff colors? Cannot risk.
this
Even the Sony Pres is worried he won't get one.
I needs me an orange vita..screw him
EDIT:
According to Yoshida-san, there can be some minor nuisances due to playing western games on Japanese consoles, like the fact that the circle and the X buttons are inverted.
His reverse psychology is working
handhelds have helped me adjust to a busier schedule.
15 mins here and there really adds up.
ORANGE!!!!
I love you sony
The distraction combined with the sense of achievement is worth it for me as well.
A lot of people i know think that it is a waste of money, but i think jewelery is a waste of money while they dont.
The worth of something to a person is dependent upon a myriad of factors. not sure if the question is even worth asking.

"Sony execs" need to be put to better use.....Like assembling my damn vita - just e-mail specs
:)
thank you for the great memories
i dont see nintendo dropping it after 8 months. No way.
after 2 years, maybe. But if u drop a console after 8 months, then you are effectively leaving the market for good as noone will trust you again.
Given that all games must be playable without 3d, it would be possible to get a cheaper model that drops the feature completely.
No, but we are seeing the demise of common sense if this article is any indicator
I dont think there was a single person in gaming who could have predicted this from nintendo.
While this may certainly give the system a boost, the long-term effects are going to be very interesting.
They have set a very curious precedent and i'm fascinated to see how the WiiU sell in its first 6 months after this, especially if it retails above $250
Maybe they wanted to price it closer to the DS line that the average consumer may have this confused with.
Or maybe they wanted to distance themselves adequately from the vita. I must say at $200 i still would not have bothered, but $169 is really tough to ignore.
I'm still going to buy a vita for one reason: Software prices.
Nintendo games have a strange habit of retaining close to full value years after launch.
Better prices with sony. I must admit though that $169 is VERY tempting
yeah, i think there will be a post-xmas re-design that brings back up the price to about $200 provided that they get some sales momentum.
The $169 version will probably be discontinued

I still dont understand y the ps3 does not support audio out via bluetooth though
thats an interesting question.
There are some options for that which include a transmitter

Nintendo saw the opportunity to maximize their profits based on their previous success and the reception the 3DS received.
They did not expect the console to fall this flat so soon after launch.
there is nothing wrong with what they did, but i think they overestimated the public exuberance for their product. They made some other mistakes as well, including software lineup and not differentiating the 3DS from the DS adequately
What platform is it on?
