They are points awarded to chart positions not percentages/fractions. The Wii scored 100 odd points it did not sell 100 times more games.
No everyone cannot agree that Last Remnant was a bad game, it's a good JRPG letdown by SE's use of the UE engine and in my opinion the battle system sucks. I have about 40 odd hours under my belt for LR now and I am still enjoying it. Infinite Undiscovery was pretty good but yeah not the best example of a JRPG by a long shot. Trouble is as the 360 does not have the sales of consoles in Japan like the PS3 SE are trying to play it "safe" by "westernising" their games for max...

I personally think Sony need to spend more on advertising the PS3 and it's games. MSoft flooded the ad time over Xmas and it didn't do them any harm. I'm not the biggest Wii fan by a longshot but Nintendo did dare to be different and it's paid of for them this time so well done to them. Just a shame that it is flooded with some very sub-par games (there are certainly some decent games too for the Wii) that it does get labelled as posted first.
It would be madness to kill the PS2 as mentioned above it's a money maker, so I cannot think why this journo would have the idea really. Only Sony know what they are up to regarding their products.
Exactly why a lot of people had been speculating a 2010 release as there has not been a lot of info relased. Some are blaming the 360 development for the delay but I am not so sure, as SE already said themselves that the 360 version wouldn't delay the PS3 release as they would be doing the 360 version now, and when the PS3 version is being localized for USA/Europe. Only SE know the truth on that one.
I am not fussed when it gets released as long its just a decent game take all the time you need in my book.
Yeah Spirits Within was a disappointment but I still enjoyed it (although I dont mind the Resi movies, there go my bubbles and hello disagrees). Although AC more than made up for Spirits.
Must admit I think it is a mad strategy but then again this is not a must have PS3 title for me (I never played the first at all)but it does look good and will try the demo (once the rush has died down of course). At the end of the day Sony have made this decision and thats that.
Might be a better deal if they included the full version of Degeneration which is a good film in my opinion.
As said this is only off of the announced list MSoft reckon they may have some more to reveal. We will see but I do think if this all they are going with then the PS3 lineup looks stronger from the types of games I like to play. Time will tell. Heres looking forward to an expensive 2009.

Did you play Metroid Corruption? Was the control bad on there? Can you imagine when the new systems bring out a new control type how much the learning curve will be? Thankfully if it's a 3D wiimote type by then they should of learned something. It's all a learning curve because most people like it simple with D-pad/Analog, but new is good to.

Now wouldn't that be something it was definately SE's errors with the UE engine. Not game breaking breaking by any means but jeez the slowdown and texture popin is unforgivable really. Maybe they should of spoken to Epic more about optomizing the engine for their game. Otherwise if they do improve it for the PS3 then it will be a bloody good RPG let down by Automatic Combat. Yeah agreed a lazy and poor excuse for a preview in my opinion.
Was hoping for something fresh as this is one of my most anticipated titles of 09 across both the 360 and PS3.
