2009 is a great year to b a RPG fan some cracking titles coming to all consoles. Only problem is affording them all plus the other non RPG games that look like winners hitting in 09. This is looking good and if I am able to it will be a day one purchase for me (as most RPG's are).

Don't know aboout that Johnny as I live in the UK, also the fact I never paid for Halo 3 as I borrowed it off of my bro. Advertising tricks have always been wasted on me though as I strive to be the square peg or as in the words of UB40 "I am the one in ten".
Speaking personally I don't lay out good money on consoles (I own 360/ps3 used to have Wii) for one game no matter how good it is. I have never been a lover of the Halo franchise (played Halo 3 for about 3-4 hours I think)anyway it never grabbed me really. KZ 2 is looking nice and if it's release boosts system sales like Halo 3's did on the 360 then it is all good in my book.

Cool looks like I'll be taking the plunge then. I liked Resistance 1's SP (although not taken the plunge on R2, yet) so if this is going to be better I'm sure to be in. Does anyone know if the demo is going to be SP/MP only or both as I would like to try before I buy.
@5.2 No denying KZ2 looks absolutely amazing graphically not sure if it's a game for me as I dont online game at this time. If it has a strong enough SP campaign then I'm sure I'll take the plunge.
It's looking like mine too unless someone one else has some unannounced games up their sleeves for 09 that could best it. Must admit I was not going to get the first one but boy am I glad I did.

Also agree with op on that they should open the consoles up to mods more. Although I can only assume being the companies they are, they would put a fee in there somewhere.
The price is about right if you look at in scale of full price titles some of which last 10-15 hours, so $10 for 3 hours is ok. Not sure if it is a game for me yet though.
I agree on the needed extra marketing as for the line-up statement thats a matter of consumer preference really.
So for the money you get a 99% complete version, and a 100% fool for paying that much for it.

No you most probably can't in real life but then I am not anticipating a Zombie/infected invasion/outbreak anytime soon either.
Loved this game yeah had it's faults (more variety in planets/structures would be welcomed by me) but otherwise a very good game. Just waiting for ME 2 to arrive now to continue the story. This deal is good for those looking to take the plunge now.
As cyclindk said it has to start somewhere and both veiws are valid, either way it's f*cked up and very sad that children/anyone has to go through abuse like this.
I enjoyed it as I am both an old/new school fan, Yeah it could of been better but hell it could of been a lot worse. The story seemed definately aimed at old school fans like Nike said above. I think I would recommend it more as a rental rather than an essential purchase.

The fanbots/zealots cannot be that jealous they haven't arrived to troll the thread like you usually see(and I'm talking about both sides here).

I must admit I was a little skeptical at first about Drakes but once I took the plunge I couldn't put it down. Been through it 3 times (maybe 4) now and have just lent it to my bro as he wont take my word on how good it is.
Now if only the 360 could up with something like this that isn't TR and I would be even more of a happy gamer.
Pot will get you through times of no games better than games will get you through times of no pot.
