if by failed hard you mean the technology became part of every one of the tens of millions of PS4 controllers produced, as well as still actually selling well then sure.. failed hard. the only thing that failed was there was little software made for it. .. the same issue the kinect had/has before it failed hard and was unbundled from the xbone to rescue it from its flounder. .. though the move is still used with PSVR and as mentioned in every DS4.
neo I don't know anyone who holds their controller in that orientation during use, if anything it may be slightly tilted up but not enough to see behind it. that's why people complained about
the LED bar reflecting in the television in the dark, not because it was facing them or "up" but because it faces the TV.
I haven't had a problem with the sticks on any controller made after 2014... but yeah a couple more hours of battery would be nice. its not so horrible but especially after a year or two of use the battery already loses some life... and when you don't start from a very long life that is pretty annoying. I have yet to see a battery in a DS4 last past 12 hours of being on or 6 hours of heavy play time unlike the frickin eternity the DS3 lasts.
you mean rentals?
great deals.
unfortunately not always so. for one thing the western popularity coupled with eastern shunning of the XBOX has reduced the potential fan base for JRPGs, they do get JRPGs but far fewer than other consoles. that makes one factor... next it has to do with the Hollywood style push in games and popularity of certain genera overshadowing others. yes great games will be popular with their target audiences but people have limited mindspace, money, time, exposure. if there are three airhorns b...
Yeah online it seems games like Persona have loud fans and then lots of people parroting how good the games are by word of mouth. the US ps2 release of Persona 4, and the vita release of Persona combined probably haven't sold half the number of copies as even one of the FF13 trilogy games... P4 is rare to find in people's collections but Goin by the internet you'd think it sold 5 mil easy in the west. it's a great series and Day 1 for me... but I don't think anybody sho...
did you actually play it? not a spoiler really but the whole story is basically held back and explained all at once suddenly before the final boss. it has good bones but the game itself is more or less bad as a whole. not memorable in the least.
JRPGS like trails in the sky /cold steel, are what I would point out as good examples of JRPGs.
amazing what selling soiled panties on ebay Japan can get you.
you know the truth is, assuming about 4.5tflop for neo that the power difference between neo and Scorpio is actually similar than the gap between the god damn xbone and PS4 is now right? if the memory is as close as they are saying then the gap there is smaller. factor in that devs had to mess with sram cache to work on the xbox and likely won't on neo and there is another hurdle to parity removed from the equasion. what youre
really talking about is a difference of some dy...
yeah communism has everything to do with cartoon girls mining resources to fight off giant monsters while building multiplayer online villages in alternate dimensions. .. dead on . the game isn't communist. in the beta the Russian they spoke was even gibberish spoken in such a way to sound evil and given completely different subtitles from the speech so one couldn't even say you could somehow feel it glorifies communism(my wife and I speak Russian. . . it was trippy as hell to lis...
the site had been more about trying to make puns and shit to go with every headline than actual content for a while. .. this is their attempt to get clicks by being a Sony oriented site going against the grain. .. did they think it makes them look impartial? the opinion is valid but this is more of a band wagon. I don't really get why the game is being judged for being nothing more than it claimed to be. people inflated it, not the developer. the game IS as described and shown and...
Ah, no I think that was the average gamer in the US during the time the 360 was the most popular console... And had more to do with who the machine was targeted at... The Walmart crowd. COD is no more to blame for that than gears of war really... The whole mass market push, mainstream music in game commercials pulling in a demographic that youre describing.
Considering overall dimensions of the PS4 are still smaller than the S... and with a revised sku coming out... no need at this time to make a slim standard ps4 IMHO, but later it would be nice as a budget sku, like the PSONE and the super slim PS3.
I thought that high load noise from the ps4 was just on some of the launch units, with the meh thermal paste application ( I have a launch console, changed the paste and cut the noise significantly )?
I love all the scorpio pandering.
Reminder: percentage of difference in TFLOPS between Neo rumored specs and the scorpio specs is SMALLER than the gap between Ps4 and xbone. Smaller. And the PS4 had gddr vs ddr3, another advantage, and yet til this day XBOX fans will downplay or deny the power gap. ...
Until scorpio. Now suddenly a smaller power gap, happening over a year from now will turn the tide. Sorry but its already outdated. I could buy a...
... that isn't how this works. It's multiplication . A 6 foot wide spread (spread your arms, average man has around that much of an arm span) and about 10 feet, between the behind an front of you.
An average bedroom is 12x12 (that's my smallest of 5 bedrooms) and my theater room is 13x12.5.
In an average living room you basically need only move the coffee cable or at least be aware of it.
It should not be a problem in 1st person for those used to driving. .. drive clubs
environments are so large there should be no problem with things moving "too fast" as they are far enough away that
parallax should offer enough of a slowing effect for most objects coupled with a forward focus... I'm sure they test it though and adjust as needed as you said.
The closest they came to doing their own thing was the gameboy. .. they almost moved to CD and then cancelled it to create the n64 which actually hurt them... then they went to the GameCube compromising to disks but the shittiest version of disks that still kept multiplats, or large games from big easily achieved though not as much as the cartridge did. Then they used the same exact hardware with some motion controls .. I mean the wii was the most unique thing Nintendo themselves ever did out...
Some TVs support PSNOW- for those its a ways to play without having to 1. own the hardware, 2. download
the games individually some of which would cost as much as a months subscription and 3. have to build a collection...
The video quality is not very poor its decent. Thats like saying Netflix is BS because for the cost of Netflix
subscription you can buy a couple blurays.... no netflix isnt bluray quality but its not miserable. Same with PSNOW.
