It is available. Scorpio does not have a 6tf gpu... it has a 6tf APU. MEANING combined cpu and gpu power... THERE are 6tf+ cards right now for like a few hundred bucks. A 300 dollar 1070 is 6tf by itself... the Scorpio is an Apu totaling 6tf meaning cpu and gpu combined. WE have much more powerful hardware in budget PCS already.
Mark my words the games running 4k native on the Scorpio will not be on the level of the PC on high or ultra... games running upscaled or 108...
No you wont... the Scorpio is going to be a low end gaming PC by next fall. A 200 dollar video card does 6tf right now.... they'll be more like 150 by then, add the rest of the PC and it's at least 50% more powerful for not much more...
King.... an 8 year old PC with a 200 dollar video card is over 6tf .
I have a workstation that old with a couple quads in it... that's 3tf+ before adding a video card. The new budget cards are more than enough to turn a PC like that into a machine that laughs at 6tf. The real benefit of Scorpio will still be ease of console, compact design to fit under the TV, and so on. It's not that powerful now let alone a year+ from now. A person with even a reasonable PC w...
Ah the 5 extra mins on xbox are loading time in recore.
We could make a joke that if the machine is slower, those 5 minutes could be loading time. ...
Bayonetta2, are you joking?
That game is fine but it got all its hype from the fact that there is nothing to play on wii u. SORRY
I like that somebody disagreed ... you speak the truth it does get more support from THIRD parties but of course most of its support (wii u) is first party.... and its the opposite for Vita even if it does get more overall support.
True... I dont think the vita is that bad off. It gets a lot of japanese games and japan is where it sold/sells well. We're in the west so from our perspective it seems like we arent getting much... look at the XBOX from the perspective of the japanese.... it doesnt get that much but it also doesnt have a large installed base there so it makes sense. Vita is just the mirror image of that.
They were NOT king in the N64 era by a longshot... the machine was plagued with problems and is known to have some of the worst games ever. its very development was a confused mess, it had cancelled peripherals a ton of vaporware and a host of quality issues for iteries to function. The N64 was pretty popular but SNES by a huge margin was their golden age of quality- thenstance with the controllers where the analog sticks ate themselves up until they were unusable. It did do some things r...
The vita has a lot of RPGs.... they did release some first party games for it but when it didnt sell they arent going to invest studios time and energy in making big games for it... Sorry but that doesnt make sense. It would be nice if it had more first party games but it has So many RPGs and other japanese games- why does it have japanese games? Because it sold there. There is a market to buy these games. They had big games for the Vita like Killzone and uncharted and so on... it didnt ...
he says every game should have a dog in it... obviously hasn't played resident evil.. or bloodborne. those are not smiling dogs those are something else
well, I'd expect them to leverage everything they can to try and even up at least north America and maybe UK and Australia. ... it's not wrong of them to try even if they may overstate the systems benefits or make huge cleverly worded claims about the best game lineup.
it's still not at Blast processing level yet.
that's a bit harsh... easier just to say not interested but no need to devalue it to those who wouldn't mind having one or are casual players and saving money is most important to them. especially with the cost of everything else around us going up.
that's a great deal, I love when they run promos like that ... it becomes easy to understand how they can move enough units to chart on top the last couple months.
so you bought a years-old fps, and some remasters... but not even the last of us remastered for instance?
you didn't actually Want to play it, I'd guess. You may as well have bought Knack and need for speed. Kidding, the uncharted collection is good but if you haven't played the first before I can be a bad impression for uncharted games. it's very rough compared to the others... even the remaster.
nobody is saying they are doing badly... but if not for unbundling kinect, utterly changing their original message and dropping the price every chance they get imagine how far they would be behind THEN? The thing it's done all that and it is still behind in all markets, just now with all these closeout sales and new Skus is it even selling on top in its home turf.... it's been the cheaper machine for literally years now and usually is still outsold... that's what people are sayin...

... you're talking about this Power gap on third party games like it will make much difference. these 1.8tflops, less than 1/3 the scorpios power. 1/3 of 6tf is 2tf, only this is 1.8....
the PS4 is 1.8tf, 1/3 of that is 0.6tf. 1.8 minus 0.6...
look at that the gap between the Scorpio coming out in over a year and the PS4 pro coming out shortly is almost identical to the difference between the PS4 and the xbox one S....
lack of exclusive games, both 1st and third party, lack of international /varied games, inferior installed base, often inferior versions for many multiplatform games.... those seem like enough of a problem to point it out as not being as good a buy as the PS4
fail no, no more so than gamecube failed or n64 failed or whatever, it's currently in second place.... there has to be a second place and wii U isn't in it, xbox one is.
the question of Scorpio simply isn't gong to dethrone Sony especially not a year away which is what people really mean when they say xbox failed, failed to overtake, failed to catch up or simply failed to meet certain vocal xbox fan's predictions. ... obviously it sells OK now after all the...
True, but it was also a near launch game on a 10 year old console long before the newer dev kits and devs really learned the machine. His point stands even if you're right... I'm the ps3 was difficult to develop for and very complex to get a good result out of...
