. high rate of failure helped a lot with that. replacement units provided by MS are included in their shipped numbers.
nobody in the mainstream who doesn't already have an xbox gives a damn about recore. not a system seller. focus on gears and forza, don't insert nothing no name games that won't sell consoles as the first in the franchise to boost the outlook.
I jus t read where you think not all receivers have hdmi.... I have no idea why someone would have a 1080p tv, a high end sound system and be using a receiver that's a dozen plus years old. hdmi isn't new. the only receiver in my house that doesn't have hdmi is an old marantz I use in my bedroom for music... and if you're using a receiver that old you're already missing a ton of sound quality in most instances.
except 99% of those with an audio system on which you'd notice it, the console is connected to the receiver. if audio quality is in question you'd never be outputting to a sound bar through a TV... nice try though
I love the disagrees. .. I guess nobody noticed the massive closeout prices on xbox ones. lol.
septic,
the spec difference between ps4p, and Scorpio are similar to the spec differences between the ps4 and xbox one. but a year later... beastly?
Scorpio will play xbone games, and per Microsoft the Scorpio will have no exclusives , every game will be on xbox one vanilla too.... it won't play anything that xbox one isn't already capable of, similar to the ps4 pro. have fun for the next 14 months with two machines more powerful and once you buy it, a year later it'll be obsoleted by a new generation not just a slightly more powerful mid generation upgrade like Scorpio is to ps4p.
I totally agree with you.
that is just such a weird podium of shooters. .. halo was known as bringing fps to console and for endless repetitive identical rooms, quake was ok for the time, but technology was it's shining point, and soon after multiplayer. I loved quake but it's not a modern shooter. it did birth the online fps as we know it, but it was surpassed in every way by the time halflife came out.
this article makes my head hurt. ...
felt totally in step, well designed. ... satisfying. what the hell. .. I guess they need to get clicks somehow. uc4 is fantastic, has no mentionable flaws outside the minds of those who haven't played it and look for reasons to dismiss it and tell themselves they aren't missing anything, or those looking to post unpopular opinions for clicks.
hard to say, since optical doesn't offer anything to the devices outside compatibility with very old receivers and /or decoupling the audio output from the video which is actually not the best idea for keeping the two synced.
kinda doubt that. .. but it did sell well
at bare minimum it would be better optimized. they blow at that now.
unity was never fixed for the most part, and was monetized out the ass that's what broke it, the always online money-shoveling background processes.
no. AC unity was an established brand. they took something working tested and beloved and destroyed it. NMS is a new franchise.... and missing things isn't the same as destroying a workin system, monetizing it , never fully patching it to fix the issues and still already having a no-apologies attitude about the whole thing. they just don't care.
seriously. I was trapped in the city limits of the website. . no supplies in or out. one night we were eating soup and our daughter said she hopes her cat comes home soon, that she had knit her a cute collar.... my wife broken down crying couldn't bare to tell her how we managed to have soup.
exactly the same :(
the title seems wrong.... 2017?
makes sense since it's being developed for MS WINDOWS And probably all the main texturing tools, engine tools, etc are on there. they this early likely don't have it running on console yet.
joe,
storage space hurt Nintendo so badly in support during the n64 era that even with the half measure of going with a proprietary disk for the game cube that system suffered as well. storage is one of the main things that will keep third party, especially multiplat AAA games off the machine.
it's years late to kill ps4. it won't even be an xbone killer.... all it can do is try to cut a share of the market now that the other consoles hype has died down. ... at least until the new machines. wii U I think failed to do just that. .. but they may have a better chance this time around
it was always a competition, just one sony has been winning for the most part.
