1. Microsoft develops hardware with partners, it doesnt make the CPUs or GPUs or anything else, its just combining them, If it needs to do this to make enough money to assemble a machine then it is a failure.
2.AS far as a BEAST Its a beast compared to years-old consoles yes. Its a beast compared to the 4 year old PS4 and a half step up on its much cheaper mid-gen refresh.

It will sell decently even if the review scores WERENT that great. The base game is a very good game and Forza has become another title like Halo or Gears that a large portion of the XBOX fanbase will buy up to have the next itteration. I expect a LARGE Attach rate with this to the new XboneX in November.

Actually the issue is probably that the details are turned down, so though it runs the same resolution something was changed elsewhere and that makes it smoother, where on the PS4 they went for maximum visuals in order to be up to par for a PS4 game.

I think its just for people who want to hook it up to a TV quick and easy. Emulating SNES has been possible since the 90s and so anyone with even the lowest end budget PC at this point can hook it up and play for instance every SNES game. All major sites if they are accurate cross sections will have far far more Sony fans. Especially if the site is internationally used and not just most the US. The truth is Reality has a heavy Sony bias.

Here is a negative: It plays XBOX games. all that power and either MS abandons all its current base, or the scorpio is basically a more powerful PSPRO, and not a full console.
Its just a new console generation that is mostly useful as a backward compatible unit for the last generation. And right now the biggest problem xbox has is exclusives... so what will the scorpio be?
